Chain link fences circle the town proper along the edges of the lakes to the West and along the 97. Outside these fences it everyone for themselves. Patrols of heavily armed teams slowly cruise the streets in ice cream trucks to draw out any zombies who have slipped through.

Downtown and many homes are heated with Geothermal heat and the city is protected from Zombies from Medford by rivers and lakes. It is here survivors are making a stand.
