Her ability to jump is one of her most useful weapons and she wields it well, using it to pounce upon foes form almost anywhere. Combining her size with her stealth to camouflage herself with her surroundings she is hard to spot in the underbrush of the forest. She has a velvety pink nose and short whiskers. Her features combined make her a beautiful she-cat and avid fighter, although the beauty she possesses is a rough and natural beauty found only in cats that appreciate the world that Starclan has given them.

Her stubborn and headstrong attitude often lead to trouble, but she always remembers what is best for the clan and manages to lead them out of trouble. She possesses a kind, graceful nature and despises unnecessary killing, but she is always up for a fight and makes a very fierce opponent. Although she has not received the wisdom of age, she is clever and uses her cunning to devise creative plans of action. No matter what time of year she always finds something to do, whether it is hunting and training apprentices or fighting a battle to save the forest. Swiftstar has a brave and pure heart even if she sometimes chooses the wrong path because of her ambition, greed, overreacting, or stubborn personality. She also can be misled because of her trusting and truthful heart. No matter how bad things may seem Swiftstar tries to keep positive, and things usually work out for her in the end.
History: Her young leadership was acquired after the previous leader fell into the river during a battle with Riverclan. At the time she was deputy because the leader thought that she had the potential to lead the clan to success. Her father was a large brown tabby named Soulstream who held lots of power in the clan because of his unusual size and strength. Soon after becoming a Warrior he was appointed deputy and fell head over paws in love. His newfound love was for a small white she-cat named Mintleaf. Soulstream tried to win the she-cat’s affection countless times, but Mintleaf failed to see a heart beneath Soulstream’s strength and big head. He eventually won her over after he dove into the river to save a kit. She fell in love for him not for the bravery of the act, but for the tenderness and care that he treated the kit with. Soon after this event they expressed their feelings for each other and became mates. The happy couple gave birth to only one kit, whom was of course Swiftstar (Swiftkit at the time). Swiftstar was raised by her kind mother and strong father and soon her personality became a mixture of the two.
Roleplaying Example: Swiftstar lay on a cool rock, sunning herself in the blazing summer heat. After five long days without rest her deputy had finally insisted that she took a break. It was summer after all, what could go wrong? Twoleg kits played on the opposite riverbank, blowing shining orbs (bubbles) in her direction. She swatted lazily at them, trying to stop them form reaching her nose. One of the orbs floated down to rest gently on her nose, Swiftstar stared at it cross-eyed looking ridiculous. Suddenly the orb popped on her nose and she let out a yelp of surprise as the liquid splattered over her forehead. Across the river the twoleg kits let out hushed giggles as they began to cross the river, using the stepping stones. Swiftstar heard the twolegs lumbering towards her but she doubted that she could make it to camp without them following her. She let out a sigh, it was just her luck that the one day she got some time to relax some stupid twolegs would come and ruin everything, but after all ruining things is what twolegs are for. Swiftstar jumped to her feet, about to leap into the underbrush of the nearby forest, when an idea struck her. If these twolegs were going to ruin her day she might as well have some fun. She turned towards the twolegs and launched herself in their direction. The startled twolegs backed away, almost falling into the river. Then Swiftstar ran a little closer to the steppingstones, sending the twolegs tumbling into the river with a splash. She let out a merrow of laughter and came closer to the edge of the bank to get a better view of the soaked twolegs. All three of the twoleg kits lay in a sopping wet heap in the river shallows. In her excitement Swiftstar forgot how slippery the bank was and as she stepped closer to the river she slipped through the mud and into the river. She scrambled to regain her footing, but the mud pulled her down. Her face burned hot with embarrassment as the twoleg kits began to laugh at her. She scrambled through the cool water, trying to swim to the bank. The murky water was so heavy. Swimming through it was difficult, for as soon as she managed to get her head above water, the current pulled her down. She plowed through the water, limbs flailing, and managed to scramble up the bank. Swiftstar then made the walk back to camp, head held low. She listened to the sweet melody of the birds as she walked into the clearing where the Thunderclan camp was hidden. The cats all gaped at her wondering how their mighty leader had gotten coved head to tail in mud and why she was dripping wet. Swiftstar stood there a moment, aware that they would want an explanation form her. She took in the soft rustle of the leaves and breathed in the sweet sent of summer. She allowed the sent of blossoming flowers to drift up her nostrils and the breeze to ruffle her fur. Finally she said jokingly “Don’t go swimming today; the water is a bit muddy.” and walked on allowing the other cats to get a laugh in before she went to her den to clean off. Even leaders make mistakes, and that was a lesson that her clan needed to learn. Pawsteps echoed on the hard rock as Swiftstar walked into her den. A shiver ran down her spine as she though of how long it would take to clean all of the the dried, caked mud from her pelt. The sun shown bright overhead as Swiftstar began the tedious task of removing the mud form her pelt.
