In other news, we are going to change the layout [to green!] so it is more attractive :).

~I edited this form from my first application that I accidentally posted in the wrong spot. (heehee sorry about that) This is the application form that I would like you to look at, Airi.~

Name: Swiftstar
Gender: She-cat
Age: 16 moons
Picture: (not required)
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: Leader

Physical Description: Swiftstar is a small she-cat with a pale orange pelt and white underbelly. Her stunning, china blue eyes radiate the fierce love that she has for her clan and for Starclan’s creations. Her long, graceful tail adds to her balance and allows her to maneuver around foes. Compact muscles give her the gift of near invisibility with out the lack of strength. Her ability to jump is one of her most useful weapons and she wields it well, using it to pounce upon foes form almost anywhere. Combining her size with her stealth to camouflage herself with her surroundings she is hard to spot in the underbrush of the forest. She has a velvety pink nose and short whiskers. Her features combined make her a beautiful she-cat and avid fighter, although the beauty she possesses is a rough and natural beauty found only in cats that appreciate the world that Starclan has given them.

Personality: Easily angered by disrespect towards life, she fights fiercely for what she believes in and refused to give up. Her stubborn and headstrong attitude often lead to trouble, but she always remembers what is best for the clan and manages to lead them out of trouble. She possesses a kind, graceful nature and despises unnecessary killing, but she is always up for a fight and makes a very fierce opponent. Although she has not received the wisdom of age, she is clever and uses her cunning to devise creative plans of action. No matter what time of year she always finds something to do, whether it is hunting and training apprentices or fighting a battle to save the forest. She also can be misled by others because of her trusting and truthful heart. Swiftstar never forgets the past. She holds grudges and won’t ever let herself forget the mistakes she has made, spending every moment wishing that she could have done things differently. It has been said that Swiftstar seeks revenge too often, setting aside her better nature and acting on impulse. She often makes foolish mistakes and has a lot to learn. Loving the thrill of adventure, she sometimes seeks danger just to satisfy her craving. Her clanmates sometimes describe her as foolish, easily deceived, bossy, doubtful, and vengeful. Although she may seem very open, Swiftstar keeps much of her past and sometimes parts of the present to herself. She has many secrets and sometimes seems almost mysterious, even her parents say that they feel that she is keeping something from them. It is said that she saw something terrifying, something that no cat should ever see, when she was a young kit. The encounter left her traumatized in a way, extinguishing her carefree kit attitude. After that encounter she was almost completely changed and vowed to lead her clan to greatness. It was as if a part of her had died, but another part was born, soon to blossom into a Warrior and leader who would bring great things to her clan. Swiftstar has a brave and pure heart even if she sometimes chooses the wrong path because of her ambition, greed, overreacting, or stubborn personality. She usually tries to keep positive, and things usually work out for her in the end.

History: Little is know about Swiftstar’s past because of her mysterious secrecy but her parents were open to discuss how they met and the of course the entire clan knows how she became deputy. Her young leadership was acquired after the previous leader fell into the river during a battle with Riverclan over the sunningrocks. At the time she was deputy because the leader thought that she had the potential to lead the clan to success. Her father was a large brown tabby named Stonestripe who held lots of power in the clan because of his unusual size and strength. Soon after becoming a Warrior he was appointed deputy and fell head over paws in love. His newfound love was for a small white she-cat named Mintleaf. Stonestripe tried to win the she-cat’s affection countless times, but Mintleaf failed to see a heart beneath Stonestripe’s strength and big head. He eventually won her over after he dove into the river to save a kit. She fell in love for him not for the bravery of the act, but for the tenderness and care that he treated the kit with. Soon after this event they expressed their feelings for each other and became mates. The happy couple gave birth to only one kit, whom was of course Swiftstar (Swiftkit at the time). Swiftstar was raised by her kind mother and strong father and soon her personality became a mixture of the two. She was a troublesome kit and it seemed as if she would never fully understand what it means to be part of a clan. Her curiosity as a kit allowed her to understand the world, but she found some things she never should have and it changed her, quickly vaporizing her immature kit attitude. Her kit attitude was replaced with a better understanding of what it means to be part of a clan.

Roleplaying Example: Swiftstar lay on a cool rock, sunning herself in the blazing summer heat. After five long days without rest her deputy had finally insisted that she took a break. It was summer after all, what could go wrong? Twoleg kits played on the opposite riverbank, blowing shining orbs (bubbles) in her direction. She swatted lazily at them, trying to stop them form reaching her nose. Swiftstar knew that she should go somewhere else, far away form the twoleg kits, but her headstrong attitude blinder her from the potential danger. One of the orbs floated down to rest gently on her nose, Swiftstar stared at it cross-eyed looking ridiculous. Suddenly the orb popped on her nose and she let out a yelp of surprise as the liquid splattered over her forehead. Across the river the twoleg kits let out hushed giggles as they began to cross the river, using the stepping stones. Swiftstar heard the twolegs lumbering towards her but she doubted that she could make it to camp without them following her. She let out a sigh, it was just her luck that the one day she got some time to relax some stupid twolegs would come and ruin everything, but after all ruining things is what twolegs are for. Swiftstar jumped to her feet, about to leap into the underbrush of the nearby forest, when an idea struck her. If these twolegs were going to ruin her day she might as well have some fun. She turned towards the twolegs and launched herself in their direction. The startled twolegs backed away, almost falling into the river. Then Swiftstar ran a little closer to the steppingstones, sending the twolegs tumbling into the river with a splash. She let out a merrow of laughter and came closer to the edge of the bank to get a better view of the soaked twolegs. All three of the twoleg kits lay in a sopping wet heap in the river shallows. In her excitement Swiftstar forgot how slippery the bank was and as she stepped closer to the river she slipped through the mud and into the river. She scrambled to regain her footing, but the mud pulled her down. Her face burned hot with embarrassment as the twoleg kits began to laugh at her. She scrambled through the cool water, trying to swim to the bank. The murky water was so heavy. Swimming through it was difficult, for as soon as she managed to get her head above water, the current pulled her down. She plowed through the water, limbs flailing, and managed to scramble up the bank. Swiftstar then made the walk back to camp, head held low. She listened to the sweet melody of the birds as she walked into the clearing where the Thunderclan camp was hidden. The cats all gaped at her wondering how their mighty leader had gotten coved head to tail in mud and why she was dripping wet. Swiftstar stood there a moment, aware that they would want an explanation form her. She took in the soft rustle of the leaves and breathed in the sweet sent of summer. She allowed the sent of blossoming flowers to drift up her nostrils and the breeze to ruffle her fur. Finally she said jokingly “Don’t go swimming today; the water is a bit muddy.” and walked on allowing the other cats to get a laugh in before she went to her den to clean off. Even leaders make mistakes, and that was a lesson that her clan needed to learn. Pawsteps echoed on the hard rock as Swiftstar walked into her den. A shiver ran down her spine as she though of how long it would take to clean all of the the dried, caked mud from her pelt. The sun shown bright overhead as Swiftstar began the tedious task of removing the mud form her pelt.

~That roleplaying example was kind of a really short story, so for those of you who would like a more…normal sample (hem hem Allison tongue.gif) here is a different example…~

Swiftstar stared up into the cloudy, evening sky form the top of highrock. The tops of trees swayed in the bitter wind as she exaimed the world around her. A heavy amount of moisture hung in the air, spreading its sweet, rainy aroma through the forest. A storm was coming, not just any storm, a monstrous storm that could shake the forest at its roots. A chill went down Swiftstar’s spine as she thought of the massive destruction the storm could cause, leaving the camp in shambles. The ominous, gray clouds drifted closer to camp, casting a dark shadow over the clearing. It was like the clouds were hunting the helpless Thunderclan cats, just waiting for the time to move in for the kill. Swiftstar had ordered the kits and queens to stay in the sheltered nursery and for the apprentices to join the Warriors in the Warrior’s den until the awful storm had passed. She doubted that the shelter of the dens would provide much protection against the brutal winds, but at least it would be something. She stood watching the clouds, waiting for the storm to begin. Suddenly the clouds released a giant BOOM of thunder that drove her to the ground with its ear-shattering sound. A great flash of lightning soared across the sky, painting it with its golden colors and illuminating the camp in the near darkness. Swiftstar squinted at the blinding flash of light. She knew that she should wait out the storm in the safety of her den, but she was mesmerized by the storm and drawn to its destructive danger. Then the storm released its wrath, pressing Swiftstar against the rock face with its howling wind. Rain plunged from the sky in giant, cold drops. The rain splattered on the rock and began the task of soaking Swiftstar in a cold wave of complete downpour. Everything disappeared in a swirling torrent and the world as Swiftstar disappeared and was shattered, replaced with a blurred vision of a monster, swallowing the camp whole. All Swiftstar wanted was to escape the searing pain that the storm had thrust upon her. She sunk to her hunches and clawed at the rock, trying to make her was to the sweet comfort of her den. She managed to crawl away from the rock face, but then the storm released a merciless gust of wind, sending Swiftstar’s small body flailing through the air. She hit the rock with a sickening thud, finally sending her into the comfort of unconsciousness. Her body was pushed under the shelter of an overhang by the wind as she clung to life through her unconscious body.

~~I edited this form from my first application that I accidentally posted in the wrong spot and then I posted it before the right application form was created :3. (heehee sorry about that) This is the application form that I would like you to look at, Airi.~~

Me

Name/Nickname- Katie
Gender: female
Age: 13
Special Talents: I have a 4.0 GPA, so I guess I could be called a good student. I do countless after school activities and involve myself in many different sports. I play TONS of volleyball and would probably describe myself as athletic and funny. Yes I love to goof around, but don’t worry I’m not one of those knock-knock joke people *shivers*. Outside is my all-time favorite place to be (except in -40 degree weather during winter). I think I am an environmentalist and I stand up for what I believe in.

*note: for all of the creepy stalker people reading this (yes I may be referring to my friends with this term) I take Karate ninja.gif ! I am a redstripe with two stripes, which in ninja language means I’m 1 ½ belts away from being a blackbelt! *throws confetti*

I Reasons Why: I think that I should be leader because I am creative and will lead the thunderclan to success. I am determined and will help make the guild successful. My unique plots and twists will keep others in suspense, begging for more. I will be open to new ideas, so that we can bring new ideas to the clan without turning away from the warrior code. No matter what is happening I will do my best to lead the clan through with a smile and my sense of humor still in tact. Although I have many faults I think that it is my faults that make me who I am. After all, if everything was perfect then nothing would truly be special. For example I am really afraid of heights, but nothing makes me feel better then when I conquer my fear of heights. It is the tiny imperfections that make us special and those same imperfections that make us who we are.
