{rpg rules}
1. »no chatspeak No chatspeak, be literate. We don't want to see any ch@+sp3@k lyk t1s!!!1 {chatspeak like this!!!!}. It lets us have a better impression of you. Please, also use good grammar and spelling.
2. »no godmoding {powerplaying} Okay. We will say it out loud and clear. No godmoding/powerplaying, whatever you want to call it. None of it whatsoever. It's annoying, and most people hate it. You cannot mortally wound a cat, attack a cat so it has no way to attack you (or shake you off, etc.), you cannot kill a cat, and you CANNOT come out of a fierce, bloody battle with only a meager scratch. THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS are when the other RPer says it's okay to kill their cat. If you catch someone doing this, please report to an admin or moderator.
3. »no spamming Spamming is an annoying event where one person, who is either trying to be funny, annoying, or just plain stupid, fills our RP boards with nonsense (I ate a cookie...) or fifty one-sentence long RPs - mainly because they want more posts. Role-play posts should be kept to AT LEAST 2-3 sentences - it depends on your sentence lengths. The more the better, although, please don't make it over 20. Use seperate posts for that, we're fine with that. And if you want to talk about cookies, The Lounge would be an awesome place for that kind of OOC stuff. ^^.
4. »no excessive vulgar language It is alright to swear a bit in these forums, but please try and keep it to a minimum, and do not exercise this power excessively. That means, no cats going, "What the ****, ******* ****!!! **** ********!!!!!!" If you see this, report. Please.
5. »keep it appropiate Keep the violence and romantic relationships to an appropiate level. This means no graphic violence or graphic mating, and no "guts spilling out" kind of descriptions.
6. »third person only Don't use I, me, my... etc. Talk in third person, like, "Rainpaw walked swiftly through the meadow," {GOOD}. NOT "I walked swiftly through the meadow," {BAD}.
7. »when talking in IC or OOC... When talking in IC (in character), you shall use just plain font or BIC//, and you shall be role-playing your cat. When talking in OOC (out of character), you shall use ((character register board password is "silvermoon")) or (text here) or OOC//.You should be talking as yourself. When talking at The Lounge, OOC marks are not needed.
8. »no perfect-paws... No cats are perfect. That means yours. You can't have a smart, pretty, funny, cool, popular, fast, strong cat all at once. Give the cat some faults.
9. »no book character relation... YOU MAY NOT ROLEPLAY a character from the books. Any of them. Even the minor ones. This is a long, long time after the books, and The New Prophecy never happened in this RP. Nor can your character be related to a book character. So that means no Firestar's great, great, great granddaughter or any nonsense.
