December Event - Frost Industries New Year's Fundraiser Event date: December 31st 2011. All threads within this forum will occur on that day, regardless of the actual date they are posted. Held to benefit one of the world's largest pro-mutant charities, all are welcome to the Frost Industries New Year's Fundraiser in the New York skyscraper headquarters of Frost Industries. Entrance costs $50, with champagne and food supplied within, and side doors and alternate entrances aplenty providing access for those unable or unwilling to pay. Mutant Registration Act I, The Rally July 14, 2011, Central Park, New York City. The heat wave that has taken over the city has finally broken, and blown in with the cooler air should come a sense of relief. But there is none to be found. Tensions run high as the afternoon draws closer, and the rally that is being held in central park is getting ready to begin. Mutant Registration is the topic, the promoters and speakers all fully behind the idea, agreeing that the masses should be tested, and liscenese, or, if they prove to be dangerous to society, rehabilitated. Whatever the hell that means. Large groups from both sides have gathered, the NYPD is in full swing, having brought riot gear and tear gas along, prepared for whatever might come, and whatever will, it�s sure to be anything but boring. Event Runs for Two Weeks Long, or longer, depending on how slow Penni is. Post only within the time period from Noon - Midnight. All threads will be backdated to take place during this time. The Blackout! June 15th 2011 is a day that will remain in the forefront of people's minds for some time to come. At 7 pm, eastern standard time, the city's power supply was unable to cope with the high strain put on by the freakish heatwave. A city-wide blackout occurred, spawning looters, rioting and general mayhem.
