Dojo The dojo is where all students, with no exceptions, learn at least the basic rudiments of self defense. Betsy Braddock's domain, the room is large and simple, with both thick and thin mats for the wooden floor depending on the style being studied and weapons racks lining the walls. All shoes must be taken off at the door and, within these walls, formality and discipline are expected of all students, with the correct respects paid towards both instructors and other practitioners of the martial arts taught here. Med Lab Injured students and staff are tended to here. Technology Area This is where Xavier's resident inventor extraordinaire does his thing. Forge spends a lot (bordering on insane amounts) of time in here making whatever he needs to or just randomly making things anyway. Cerebro The furthest down and the most secretive of all the Institute's floors holds Cerebro, a great machine made by Magneto and Xavier long, long ago. Only Xavier knows how to work it, and before now that's never been a problem. The Hanger Housing Cyclops' pride and joy, the subterranean hanger is home to the Blackbird, the Institutes own private jet.
