This is a world that is on the brink of change, a world having to come to terms with what mankind has produced from itself. This is a world where the Phoenix force tired of Professor X and Magneto wasting their potential to change the world for good and rewound them in time to give them a second chance. This is a world where mutants are hated and feared, where superhero teams like the Avengers never occurred because who would trust a person with powers strange and incomprehensible?
In short, this is a world where anything is possible, timelines have been rewritten and the entire mutant question is a new and terrifying one. Starting from the beginning, our world is only just realising the extent of the talents that can be born out of the human genome and how it deals with the rise of mutants and superhumans...well, that's up to you.

Dang it! Ariel woke up in the train and realized she had gone too far than she was supposed to and she sighed heavily. What now? It was late at night, cold and she was going to be standing at a strange station that she didnít even know the name of. How could she have fallen asleep in a train? Had she become so crazily secure in the city, that her body thought itíd be safe to fall asleep in the subway? She definitely needed to change that and quickly, she thought as she stepped out of the train and looked around: the train station was less than an attractive place to be and she sighed a bit. At least she had her energy powers to keep her safe, if anyone would consider attacking her.
She pulled the jacketís neck closer around her and crossed her arms around her in a hug to keep her warmth. She had forgotten her gloves in the seat inside of the train and as she watched the train drive off, she mentally waved away to her favorite pair. He long red hair was falling down her back and shoulders, in a wilderness of big red curls, framing her face, making it seem softer and more gentle, but with an edge to it. Her white eyes ran over the place, scouting to see if there were any sign of life around and she sighed relieved when she discovered it didnít seem like it.
Ariel didnít seem safe outside at night, as people didnít seem to be too fond of her special and quite unique looks. Her radiant purple/pink skin seemed to always scare people off and somehow make them angry with her. Humans were so unpredictable and filled with rage towards anything that was different, but the 23 year old girl tried not to let it affect her too much, though it was of course a part of her every day daily life. She took a few steps, hearing how her footsteps echoed across the place and though she had a smile on her lips, she was thinking about how stupid she was as the cold wind blew against her pantyhose covered legs, as her black short skirt didnít give much shelter for the cold.
