So this was supposed to be a OH HAPPY ONE YEAR sort of announcement, but Lell and I got a bit busy with our respective lives and it’s been put off. So, HAPPY ONE YEAR AND FIVE DAYS!!!!

This is going to be a small announcement, but it is one that I think will be packed with a lot of punch, hopefully one that y’all will appreciate. As some of you might have read in the cbox, we’re going to be changing the focus of the site a bit. We’ve grown over the past year, and we have an amazing member base with well developed and integrated core characters, and we really think that it’s time. What sort of change, you might ask? Well Lell and I talked long and hard about it, and we have decided that the site with the wonderful foundation that she has, is ready to grow, and the only logical place for this growth to take place is up and out, and thusly encompassing Marvel as a whole.

No longer will we be “In the Wake of Humanity, an Alternate Universe X-men Site” but instead we will be “An Alternate Universe Marvel Site.” This will mean that all Marvel characters (excluding, of course, those on the bans list, Asgardians, the Time Travelers and Clones, Eternals, etc.) will be welcome in our universe. Much like with their Mutant Brethren, we would prefer that they begin at the beginning, and that all who might apply with them know that so far no super-hero organizations are in place. This goes for most villainous organizations, as well.

What does this mean for us, though? Well, the limits for wider-verse characters will be dropped, our canon list will be updated and while at the moment the plot revolves around the X-men still, it will change and alter icly to incorporate more of the world as a whole. Boards will be created that better suit whomever might apply and new user groups will likely be created. Lots of changes, but nothing big, and we will all continue on as we have.

What do we need from you? Suggestions! Lots of them. Tell us what you think we should add, who we should add, and how we should go about it! Feel free to either post them up in response to this announcement, or to PM either Lell or myself!

Well, no, here are a few smaller things.

Be on the look out for a couple polls that are going to be put up here shortly. We have a couple other more administrative changes that we might like to put into effect, but we’d love for you as members to have input.

Also, The Chaos is on the move. In a few months time, something else big and exciting is going to be happening, so watch for any hints or teasers, eh?

Lastly, but not leastly, we’re going to have an contest soon that I think a lot of you graphic artists might really like that's also to do with our new shift into being a wider Marvel site, so keep your eyes peeled for that as well!
