In-Character Rules

Character creating isn't that hard (except for a few characters you could get stuck on). The objective for allowing the creation of characters is to provide an enjoyable way to be involved with the story. However, your characters will not be included in the comic unless you purchase the cameo character package.

Before you start filling out a profile template, you may want to consider looking up your character's species information, make sure whatever about them involving Virus 0387 corresponds with the story, and whatever else would be necessary. You must know the rules, or you could be suspended or banished.



GUIDELINES

• Your character can be almost anything, as long as it's mostly realistic. You must go by realistic experiences and difficulties. For example, a three-week-old puppy can not survive without its mother for very long without help, thus it is pretty much impossible. We will not accept unicorns, hellhounds, or impossible hybrids. Anything that's fantasy should remain in fantasy RPGs. To make sure you have an acceptable species, check the Species board. Anything else will require admin approval.
• It is preferred you keep one character per account to prevent in-character confusion. Thus, you will need to keep the name of your character as the account name. At this time, you can only keep a maximum of FIVE (5) characters, and you must be active with both of them. If you play a canon character, it does count toward your five characters. You may make a 'main' account where you would interact OOCly without affecting your character's posts, but you musn't roleplay on it.
• Be original. Not every character has a bad past, has dead parents, ran away, and is an emotional shadow. A character can easily have a good life, then later have a lot of bad luck. Just be original.
• You must possess a decent writing style and originality in your posts.You must have a completed profile before roleplaying. Your profile will be looked over by an admin or a mod to ensure everything corresponds with the rules, or you will be contacted. Your character profile will be moved to Accepted Profiles and you can edit it from there. You may not change your character. If this occurs, you will be suspended.

PROFILE TEMPLATE
Below is the template for applying your character. You must fill out every field and be sure to follow the directions to make your processing faster. If your profile is unfinished, put an asterick (*) at the beginning of the name.

REGARDING IN-CHARACTER INTERACTION

• You must stay static. Do not change your character around (unless there has been a major in-character experience or plot in which the staff should know about).
• Obey the roleplaying rules (located in the Regulations board. Mistakes happen, but if you refuse to obey them, you may be suspended.
• To join group (i.e. packs, colonies, etc.), you must make sure to know that group's rules and regulations. Staff have no say if you can be accepted or not.
