An Unexpected Meeting

[Jacob Collins]

Jacob sat in the Slytherin Common Room. He was reclining on one of the couches by the fire in a trance-like state. His eyes were watching the fire, yet his mind was elsewhere. The only thing he could think about was a certain someone that he's been crushing on for weeks.

Why can't I get Kean out of my head, he thought. I see him every now and then in the hallways and class but we never really talk. Why can't I think of anything but him?. Jake stretched and rolled over on his side. None of this is making any sense to me.

Jake stood up and fixed his sweats. "I need to do something to get mind mind off of this." He said to himself. Jake ran his fingers through his hair when he heard the Dorm Room Door open up.

Conor walked into the Slytherin common room, gloomy as usual. He had been lying in bed in his black sweats and black beater, but decided to go lay by the fire on his favorite couch.

He looked up and saw a hot seventh year running his fingers through his hair. He looked back down at his feet as he passed the boy and sat at the couch that Jake had just got up from. He stretched himself out on it, not caring if he took up all the space.

"What are you doing just standing there?" he asked the strange boy.

James looked behind him at the figure that layed on the couch. "Oh, um." He was not expecting someone to walk in at that moment, let alone start a conversation. "Just trying to figure out what to do right now. Gotta clear my mind right now..." He started to play with his strings from his hoodie. "You have any good ideas?"

Conor raised his eybrows at the boy. He himself had to find a way to clear his own mind, how was he going to help this guy? "Well, there are many things to clear your mind." He told the older boy. "You could fuck your significant other, you could play a game, you could take a shower, you could jack off... Whatever you're into." He put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. "Tell me when you think of something better."

What a smartass...guess he won't be much of help to me afterall. Jacob fell back onto a chair by the fireplace and kept thinking of what to do. Jacob pointed his wand at a book on the table. "Accio book." He caught it in the air and flipped through the pages. I've already read this damned thing three times today...maybe I'll head down to the library...

"Oi boy, do you know where Peeves is? Last time I saw him he flung a stinkbomb towards me."

Did that asshole just call me a boy? Conor asked himself. He sat up on the couch, his eyes flashing at the older boy. "No, I don't know where the fucking poltergeist is and if I did I would tell him to fling more dungbombs at you." Conor didn't like when older students thought they were adults just because they were a few years older.

"What are you going to do anyway?" Conor asked curiously. "Are you going to ask Peeves to fuck you so you can clear your head? I didn't think a guy like you would be so desperate as to result to that, but I guess I can be wrong sometimes."

Jacob pursed his lips. This fucker really nows how to get under my skin really easily... Jake cracked his neck. If they hadn't upped the punishments I'd hang him by his tighty whites in the Great Hall. Jake twirled his wand in his hand at the thought.

"If you must know, I was thinking about heading down to the library. And next time I hear you mouth like that to me I'll teach you to respect those older than you you lil PRAT."

Conor couldn't believe it, this guy had some fucking nerve. "Those older than me? What are you, a seventh year? That's not that big of an age difference, besides you're not even that much of a man." He smirked and stood up, walking toward the seventh year. "You want to teach me a lesson? Why don't you teach me how to make you scream my name? That's a lesson I'll definitely remember." He crossed his arms over his chest, let's see this straight guy freak out because he just got hit on.

"Sorry I haven't benn the bitch in any of my relationships....as for saying your name." Jake whipped out his wand and pointed it at the boy. "I think it's time for you to scream my name." As he finshed he gave his wand a flick and watched as the little boy's underwear wrapped around his head.

"Just as I thought tidy whities..." He said while laughing. "J-a-c-o-b Collins...get it memorized so this won't have to happen again. If he wasn't such a dumbass he might actually have been cute. Jake sighed.

Conor reached into his back pocket and pointed the wand at his head. His underwear fixed itself and he glared at Jacob. "I would never scream your name if my life depended on it." He pointed his wand at the arrogant bastard. "You do look like someone who's been bitch, though. I should've known that someone with your hair would be a faggot."

Jacob advanced on the boy with his wand drawn at his throat. "Didn't I warn you to watch your fuckin mouth? Tarantallegra!" He started to laugh as a wand flew into the air. "Oh I wonder what I should do to you next to have you learn some respect." Jake watched highly amused with what was happening.

Conor knew that was coming and pushed Jacob away. As the spell came toward him, he yelled "protego!" The spell was deflected and then he pointed his wand at Jake again. "Expelliarmus!" Jacob's wand flew into the air and Conor caught it. He pointed both wands at Jacob with a smirk. "For a seventh year, you're not really good at keeping your wand in your hands."

Jacob looked down at his own wand that was pointed towards him. He gave a smirk. "Not bad prat, maybe you aren't a complete dumbass after all." He said as he sat down on a chair. "So now watcha gunna do, hex me with my own wand? Like you'd have to guts."

Jake looked around the common room thinking of his next move.

Conor just smirked. "You're acting real cool for someone who has two wands pointed at him." He shrugged. This little fight was getting boring and he didn't want to stay on Jacob's bad side. He walked over and dropped the wand into Jake's lap, then after placing his own in his pocket, he sat down on the couch. "So, what was the reason you were trying to clear your head earlier?"
