Entrance Hall
This is a rather drafty place since the wind and cold draft in as people open and close the big wooden doors to the front of the school. This is the first thing you see when you’re a first year entering the castle.

Great Hall
The Great Hall is where all the feasts and balls are held. The famous Yule Ball of the Triwizard tournament is always held in here as well as any other school dances. You can just come in here and enjoy a meal before or after class but remember that it closes at 10 PM and reopens for breakfast the next day.

Empty Classroom # 11
Empty Classroom #11 is hardly ever used unless you have permission to practice your charms assignments or just simply hold club meetings. Transfiguration Exams are normally held here at the end of term due to the lack of space in the transfigurations class.

Medieval Masquerade
Hogwarts is hosting a new festival - a medieval one! It is meant to celebrate the time during which Hogwarts was built. Competitions for both boys and girls as well as a costume contest celebrate this event before the final ball on Saturday night.
