It's Panic!Geeze, I never play mean characters, this should be fun...Sorry this one's kind of short, the rest will be better, I promise.It was cold. And dry. No snow, no ice, just cold, frozen everything. Even the reddish rocks here, usually a brilliant color in the hot sun, were a dull dirt color in the cold blue light of winter. There was nothing to be found her. Rocks and boulders, branches and skeleton trees littered the ground, but that was all, except for the only one who could survive here. One ill-tempered big horned sheep. A few smaller rocks tinkered down a nearly vertical rock wall and if you were to look towards their origin, you would spot him. Huge curling horns, a stark white underbelly, thick, musclely legs and shoulders, and a bad attitude. Artix. He was about the only one who could manage on these cliffs. His carefully designed hooves clung to rocks and allowed him to manage on nearly impossible slopes. He lept stealthily from one minuscule outcropping to the other. He was making his way down.Carefully, with precision that his life depended on, his slid down a slope on some loose rock, coming to rest on another small piece of rock. He took only a moment to decide his next move and he continued on. Anyone watching could see the sheer power contained in his hide. He was all muscle and he had to be. What he didn't have to be was a dick, but he was that anyway. Winter was hard on the beast. There was hardly anything to eat and what little there was, was scattered around on various cliffs, never very near to one another. It took almost as much energy as he consumed just to get to the tiny nibbles of greenery which only made him more irritated than normal. At the moment he had a small clump of weeds in his sights. they were close to the ground, and he was using a lot of energy and time just to get to them. Artix was safer on the ground, but for some reason, he felt more at home on the cliffs.After a few more daring leaps and tricky footwork, the big horn was on the ground. His haunch tickled as a fly momentarily landed on it, but his twitching drove it away. Finally, he had made it to his precious meal. Damn winter. He lowered his huge head, adorned with horns that could easily break the bones of a wolf, and quickly devoured what little there was in the green clump, which was really more of a brown, than a green. He stamped his paws in agitation and bucked at the air. Not a happy camper. Not at all.

NOTE: Paralyzer doesn't have silver-ish fur, but it's actually tan. The person who made this table made it slightly gray scale. Sorry for any confusion. xD;

Her fur wasn't wet anymore, which was a big plus for Paralyzer, but it was still cold and frozen. She coughed as she swallowed some spit, but was fine in a few seconds. It seemed she would have to dig out a den soon to escape the cold, or move in with the Alpha, and Paralyzer doubted that would happen anytime soon. She sighed and continued to walk next to canyon wall, hoping to not be blown away by a few of the winter winds. Maybe a den around here could be found? After all, the canyon looked safe and perhaps in wouldn't cave in. And didn't those supposed jackalopes live around here? Or was that just a myth she heard when she lived with her family? If they were, then she could probably live off those or something. She wolf-shrugged and continued on her way.

Rocks tumbled down the slope, and a few landed on her head. She snorted as the frozen pieces smashed on her head and particles went up her nose. There went the chance of living here. She looked up to see what it was that had made the rocks hit her head, and it turned out to be a bighorn sheep. Male, too. Paralyzer figured he wouldn't cause her any trouble from up there except maybe an avalanche or frozen rock, but she once more doubted it would happen. He was a big one, and that scared her, even though she doubted that he would come down and beat her death. But strange, random things could happen like that all the time. Her front right leg shook in anxiety and slight fear, but she continued on.

Despite her doubts, a few more pebbles were falling towards her, and the bighorn sheep was making his way down. Did I do anything to insult him? she wondered, stopping in her tracks. She wasn't going to go anywhere near him if she could help it. He ripped up the plants he was apparently after, and the noises made Paralyzer flinch. She didn't like that at all. When he bucked, she knew he wasn't happy at all. Maybe she could do something about it? Make him happy? She doubted it, but said something anyway. "M-monsieur? I hope you are parfait." Oh, great she was using her Frenglish language. That would surely make things worse, even though she didn't know the English word for 'fine'.

Damn. I'm so so sorry. I didn't realize it had seriously been a week since I replied. I got really busy with school and work, but it should settle out now...I'm so sorry again.The massive beast heaved his head in agitation. His nostrils blew out an angry breath, the cold immediately condensing the air into an intimidating steam. He was past sick of winter. Angrily, he dug with sharp hooves at what was left of the scrap of greenery. He was only wasting precious calories. With another snort, he gave up his anger on the plant. But then, his massive head shot into the air faster than it seemed he would be able to move such a weight. Wolves had an excellent sense of smell, but the ram's was nothing to shake a stick at either. He had a visitor. A poor, unfortunate visitor.There was a wolf here. Artix in general wasn't particularly fond of the wolf population in the area. They were always running around, busting into his territory and mucking things up. Plus they were all so damn arrogant. All of them. And here one stood, right before his eyes. She wasn't exactly a massive figure, but even if she had been, all the wolves were smaller than the ram. She was almost pitiful looking. The tannish wolf looked scared immediately, and he hadn't even done anything. Yet. Ah how Artix loved when unsuspecting, or even more exciting, suspecting, wolves made their way through his lands. He certainly wouldn't let them get through without meeting him. It was such a joy. As much as a big-horn could, a smile grew across the lips of the creature, but a devilish smile it was.He took hard, deliberate steps forward, his head down only slightly, to make sure this wolf was aware of his bone-crushing headgear, as if she could have missed them anyway. And then she spoke! Some mumble of sounds and letters Artix hadn't a clue the meaning of. Ah this would be fun after all..."What? Are you stupid wolf? Can't you talk? And just what do you think you're doing on my land? As if you mangy creatures haven't claimed enough of it for yourselves."He snorted hard again as he spoke, pawing the ground to drive home the point that this was his land, and not this stupid wolf's. Stupid wolf. Oh she was in for a treat. A real treat.
