PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
I’m hot baby, just joking. Sort of. I work out enough to keep me chiseled and playing whatever sport is in season. That is when I’m not on the road. I’ve been told I have a baby face, bright eyes, plush lips, and perfect hair with little handling. A shade of mousse here, a bit of gel there, you know the drill. I’m tall enough, I think, not the tallest, but it doesn’t bother me. Sometimes I don’t shave, when I’m trying not to get carded, or they’ll still be doing that when I’m 30. GOALS:
I only have one main goal and that is to write and record my solo album. The rest is just life happening. After that’s done, I’ll move on.
So I suppose I should come up with a few more goals, so perhaps I can work on my jokes
Also spend more time playing sports, I wouldn’t mind learning real football.
HABITS:
I’m obsessive when I work, and schedules do not work for me. Don’t try to put me on them, I’ll manage to disappoint.
I’ve been known to disappear into whatever dump I’m living in for days on end.
I hate doing laundry so tend to buy a lot of what I plan to wear and then restock once I run out.
SECRETS:
Even if I don’t act like it, I loved the fame of being in Sixth Sense. The benefits were awesome.
I took over the management of my money when I was 15 and have done well.
I wouldn’t mind buying an old econo-line van and living on the road.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
I’m an easy going kind of guy, for the most part anyways. Being the youngest member of a boy band at 14 there was no other way to be. When I want something I take it, I wanted fame, I worked my ass off and it was mine. Now it’s time to put that to practical use and put some of those songs I’ve been writing on disc. I always enjoy a good laugh, though I know full well my own jokes are terribly lacking, mostly it’s amusing to see if they laugh cause they think they have to. It’s easy to tell that way why someone is around you. I like to think I make friends easily, I’m friends with all the guys in my band, and my face book is full of people. Don’t even ask about my cell phone. I think I might be a little vain, cause when everyone else is pissing and moaning about being caught on film, mostly I laugh. We’ll see how long that lasts in Carson City. Who has ever heard of the place? This Carson fellow better not be wasting my time.
When I’m working I’m a bit obsessive, like eat, drink, and bathe in the stuff. On the other hand I love a good party, and you’ll almost always see me doing a keg stand or two. Drugs and cigarettes are out, there is just something about the smell, it usually makes me sneeze. I like to think I’m all around a nice guy, I always tip well, it’s not like I need all that much anyways. at this point in my life; ORIGIN:

BEST MEMORY:
The first time I stepped on stage in Japan, it was awesome, there is nothing better than flashing lights and thousands of girls screaming your name. What can I say, I like the attention.
WORST MEMORY:
I broke my leg on stage in Seattle, it was horrifying. The bastard paramedics wouldn’t let me go back on stage. I’m not a big fan of not finishing when I started.
OVERALL HISTORY:
The story of Skylar, is a pretty average one. No major drama, his dad wasn’t a drunk, his mom didn’t beat him, the only trouble he’s been in with the law was well teenage transgressions. In fact he has a great relationship with them. Born in Atlanta, at the hospital, his mom likes to tease him that he took 36 hours of grueling pain. He didn’t always believe her, but after the tutors showed the sex ed videos he’s certain it was. He wasn’t a small baby that was for sure. He picked up his first microphone at 4, lip synching to Micheal Jackson. Not the most popular these days for sure, but back in the day he was the shit. When his parents realized he wasn’t giving up the idea of learning about music, they enrolled him in piano, and guitar lessons, of course those didn’t conflict with soccer and baseball leagues. He skipped T-ball, his parents a little slow on the signing up and there wasn’t room on the team.
By the age of 9, they found out Skylar was somewhat of an ingénue after he pleaded his way into a scholarship contest for the New England Conservatory. It was off to Boston for him after that, though he didn’t fit in well, he wasn’t single minded enough. The instructors were tough, but could not break through his mind to keep doing other things besides music, and after 2 years he was expelled. After that he went back to his family, played sports, kept up with the lessons that could be afforded and waited for his chance to prove them bastards wrong. Though he’s likely to not admit describing those fellows that way, his momma might was his mouth out with soap.
His chance came at 14, a talent show came to Atlanta, auditioning for the youngest kid stars. Skylar pleaded for 2 months to try out. His parents finally caved and drove him to the auditions, afraid his hopes would be dashed. There was a difference between singing in his grade school shows and the real world. Unfortunately his humor rubbed a few of the judges the wrong way, and he was denied the chance to compete. When a classmate from Boston decided to work with his label to create a band, Skylar Green was born. He was just what the wanted, he would be the youngest member, and his parents traded off going on the road with him. Hours and hours of practice, weeks of torture to learn the dance moves, being forced to learn ballet and forget the rest of the world, they’re first album was released an instant hit in Japan, and England. The tour started there, it was the most amazing thing he had ever felt. Despite publicity, tutors, and even more demanding adults he fared well, his parents kept things normal enough for him, he didn’t start drinking until he was 18 and by chance accidentally got drunk at an event. He’s strayed through the girls soaking up the attention, and even a few boys have crossed his plate, he’s not all that choosy as long as they aren’t too demanding.
Now he’s 21, 3 platinum albums, 2 gold records, a Grammy, and several MTV awards later the other members of his band had moved on to marriages, kids, and normal lives, Skylar however is not content with that, and took to the road. Traveling around the United States he’s fired his representatives, emails his parents or calls bi weekly just to check in, and in no hurry to settle down. Attending a Paramore Concert a few months ago, he met Barry Carson, or rather a representative of his and worked his magic. Siesta Studios is giving him a shot at recording a solo album, and helped him move to Carson City. He’s not sure what to expect though he’s sure that he’ll figure it out, when he’s not working. At the very least he can be the lame old boy band member if he chooses too. Not that he’ll choose to, he does fine on his own.
