Even though he had only seen this place from above, it was still fascinating to see up close. Cáel stiffled a yawn as he walked past a couple of running children. As a smile crept onto his face, he watched the kids laugh at some little joke between them. Humans were always so interesting, especially human children when they still held onto their youth. Some part of him wondered what it would be like to have a child of his own but knew that by being a star he may never get that chance. Even though he knew of one star that had found life on earth with humans and had children, Cáel wondered if he would ever be that lucky. Yvaine was considered a hero among the stars after her adventures and destroying three of the evilist witches there were.

Turning to face the cobbled road that led up to the castle, Cáel blicnked a few times before yawning again. Despite the fact that he looked like a human now, he still couldn't stay awake during the day. He got so tired easily and normally fell asleep against a rock or tree. However now he was in a town and figured it would be best to find an inn to get some sleep. Only problem was...he didn't have any money and wasn't about to tell just anyone he was a star looking for a place to sleep.

Loosing his footing, Cáel slipped and fell to one knee causing himself to get a small scratch under his leggings. "Blasted all..." he muttered standing back up and gently dusting his knee off. Shacking his head once more to fight the sleep off, he was determined to make it to the castle before letting himself fall asleep. He was a star after all and he wasn't very active during the day, which was normally when he slept. But he wanted to see Yvaine again and see how life was treating her, not to mention he also wanted to see the man that had won the heart of a star for love.

Honestly, giving her lady the slip when going on trips into the city was far too easy, Eloise was old and easy to confuse. The poor human was probably going from merchant to merchant in hopes that someone had seen the princess Magdalena, her charge. But Maggy was far more cunning than all that, she'd brought along a disguise, an old gown that she fished out of the maids closet and scruffy boots, to match. Her hair had been blindly wrapped up in a messy knot a the nape of her neck, a few, rogue tendrils of curls framing her delicate face. Yes, if you knew her well enough, or if you looked closely enough, there would be signs to point out that this young woman was anything but the lower class servant she was trying to present herself as, but to anyone glancing at her, she would be just another face in the crowd.

And that's exactly as she wanted it.

The Stormhold princess would take her time today, viewing life through the eyes of those that walked anonymously every single day. How lovely it was, to not be gawked at or bowed to or sometimes even kneeled to, simply for being born in the family one happened to be born into. Truly, Magdalena was a humble soul wrapped up in a pretty, royal wrapper. And the truth was that being a star, or a half-star, as the case was, was far more impressive in her mind, than the fact that she was from the royal family... but maybe that was just something she took for granted.

Anyway, she smiled peacefully as she walked the streets without care, her glow was stronger than normal, for being in disguise made her feel ... excited, but it wasn't that strong, there was still something very important missing from her life. She greeted anyone who would smile at her and purchased an apple, delighting at it's sweetness and that's when she noticed a young man falling to the ground. She stopped at a distance and watched as he picked himself off and shook his head from side to side... there was definately something different about the man, and she was going to find out what it was. "Hello," she said to him and smiled warmly as she closed the distance between them, "You've hurt yourself... may I help you? I... I have salve and bandages in my bag..."

Even though his knee had begun to hurt like crap, Cáel wasn't about to show that he was in pain. He was after all full of bravery and part of the constellation known as Leo the Brave Lion. So by showing pain he felt like he was letting down his true name and where he came from. However he wasn't used to this kind of pain or any pain at all really. Everything was new to him since he had fallen to earth despite how many years he had watched the world from the sky. It seemed the same but he figured that because he had seen it from the skies for so many centuries that finally experiencing it was...well a lot of fun.

"Hello."

Looking up from the ground to see where the voice had come from, Cáel almost lost his footing once more. A girl was standing infront of him, the most beautiful girl he had ever seen before. Especially one up close but something about her was almost...familar. He couldnt' quite place it where this familar feeling was coming from but he did know that this girl was very pretty. "Hi." was all he managed to say as he felt himself starting to glow. He couldn't help but be enchanted by her young beauty and he didn't even care if everyone around him saw that he was glowing like a star.

"You've hurt yourself... may I help you? I...I have salve and bandages in my bag..."

Caught off gaurd by the word salve, Cáel frowned at the unfamilar word. 'Salve? What is that? Some sort of...plant I believe? And I may have hurt myself but I don't mind the pain. I actually welcome it." he answered glancing down at his knee where he could feel the burning sensation coming from. He may not like the feeling his knee was giving off but it felt good to experience something new such as this. With a quirky smile, Cáel bowed to the young woman and swept his hands out to the side. "I'm Cáel and may I ask who you are? For such a pretty lady you must have a pretty name." Cáel asked hoping he wasn't being too...what was the word again? Too forward?
