CERINA LEANDRES
TWENTY-TWO | FOREIGNER
Once Princess of Wilceim, Cerina is now nothing more than a nomad.
The kingdom of Wilceim has been teetering on the edge of destruction for years. Wars have torn it apart and there's been very little in the sense of unity due to the constant change in monarchies. A struggle for power was nearly constant and Cerina's father was just one of the many players and he believed he could set the kingdom straight, fix it. Not that all her father's intentions were good and innocent. He'd always had a lust for power..and so did plenty of others in the unstable kingdom.
Her father sat on the throne for nearly three years before he was killed along with her brother and mother. Cerina is certain the same fate would have fallen upon her if a faithful guard hadn't come to room that late night and smuggled her out of the castle to safety. There wasn't the slightest chance of her being able to stay and live in the capital, so she had to leave. Even out in the countryside she felt out of place. Exposed.
It was nearly a month before she came upon the group of nomads she came to live with. They travelled the kingdoms, stopping in towns to entertain to gain a little money to continue the lifestyle they had. Though very little funding was needed when most of their livelihood came from the forest, plains and seas. They made do with what they had.
After a life of living in something of luxury (though not quite the same lifestyle that nobility of other kingdoms, richer kingdoms, would be used to) it took some time for Cerina to be able to adapt to such a different way of life. She's learned to clean and cook her own meat, even how to set little traps for small game. It's a difficult life, but preferable to what she'd known before she's since decided. However, there is still a smart part of her that would love to have some revenge on those that murdered her family.
