Welcome to Shroud in the Mist, a medieval/fantasy RPG set within the Kingdom of Aenor. It is here in which two brothers are fighting for the throne, in which they both think is rightful his. One, the youngest, is King at the present moment while his eldest brother is trying to get the throne that was passed to him from his brother. Tensions run high and here, you never really know who you can trust. Feel free to have a look around. Have any questions? Please feel free in order to contact one of our admins. Westmoore Castle
The pride and joy of the kingdom is Westmoore Castle. Although it looks like nothing from the outside, on the inside, it is ornately decorated with items from around the world. The interior is pleasing to the eye, hiding any evidence of anything which may have happened within the past. While lingering about the castle, pay close attention to the walls. You never know where a secret passage way may be hidden.

Streets
Running throughout the city, the streets get you from one area to another. Made out of dirt, it can become quite hectic during a rain storm. As muddy as it can be at times, you can still see people walking upon it. It is also here in which the marketplace takes place, allowing farmers to sell their goods to some of the wealthy citizens of Aenor.

Veronesi Tournament Grounds
This vast land provides an excellent spot to practice one’s skills. Every year during the summer, there are tournaments that occur here. From jousting to sword fighting, there is enough in order to make even the hardest person to entertain pleased. There are also other sorts of entertainments such as plays as well as the occasional games scattered here and there. During the tournament events, all those in attendant are treated as equals, including the Rebels.

Ailtern Woodland
Known as the prime hunting grounds for the King, these woodlands provide vast beautiful for all to enjoy. Throughout the small openings between the trees, the sunlight is allowed to peak through, giving the ground a speckled appearance. It is here in which one may find the peace that they desire, even if the troubles that may be occurring around them. This is also the perfect spot to see wildlife you might not see elsewhere.

Hemalil River
Connected to the stream, the river is a side to behold. Its fast moving waters provide a variety of fish for a person to eat however, it also provided a risk when crossing it. Horses can easily be swept off their feet when attempting to cross here, even in the shallow parts. It is wise that if you are attempting to cross, bring another who might be of some help to you.

Rubera Stream
Named because of the minerals which turn the water red, Rubera stream provides a fresh drinking source. Nearby, willows provide the shade that is needed during the summer. Not only is this a good place in order to relax, but when it comes to crossing the water, this is the place to do it. The water is shallow enough, making it safe for even the children.

Vawn Field
Used as a farming field, the wheat grows high here, providing excellent cover for those young lovers who wish for their privacy. Not only does it provide privacy, but it is a good place for hiding. Deer and game birds are often seen here, eating the grain that falls to the ground. However, with how tall the grasses are, it is sometimes hard in order to spot some of these creatures that are in hiding.

Teyor Windmill
Once a proud structure, it has fallen into disarray due to abandonment. Next to it, there is a house, which looks to be of no use to anyone. Unaware to the eyes of others, these structures have been claimed by the Rebels. One would not be able to tell but underneath are various tunnels, leading to many places in which the Rebels call home.

Celtea Lake
Known for the beauty this lake provides, especially in the moonlight when the light dances across the surface, there are many who come here in order to bathe or swim. The warm waters provide a pleasant dip during the summer while the shade trees keep those out of the heat. As much as it is pleasant during summer, during the wintertime, everything changes. Although its beauty remains with the snow upon the ground and the ice that glistens over the lake, there is potential for this area to become dangerous. When walking across the ice, make sure that the areas you cross are safe, for the ice is thinner in some areas than others.

Reuparn Forest
Trees fill every inch of this area and darkness reigns supreme here. When traveling these woods, it is hard to actually move through it, especially with how close the trees are. Because of this, one must travel by foot in order to reach the destination that they desire. However by actually going through it and reaching the middle, one gets the delights of seeing what it hidden from public view. There is a waterfall with native plants surrounding it, such as ferns and lily-of-the-valley. It is a place where many come in order to think about things and where few know about.

Parnyte Meadow
Whenever the wind flows through the long, golden grasses, it makes a humming noise that fills the areas around it. Wildflowers grown abundantly here, making it a joy for children who want to make crowns and bracelets for themselves or others. At nighttime, this is one of the best places to see the stars upon a clear sky. It is also the best place to enjoy it whenever it rains, providing a clear path for any rain that falls from the heavens above. Peace surrounds this place, especially with the sound of crickets filling the air.

Daltara Mountain
Known as the highest peak around, there are risks that are taken when one is attempting to cross the mountain. Throughout most of the year, snow graces the peaks, providing a beautiful landscape for one to look at but dangerous to cross. There is hardly any life upon these mountains, except for those who are able to tolerate the cold that is given to them. Beware not to cause too much noise, for this area has been known to have a few avalanches.

Balmem Cliffs
Although it may be serene, the rumors that are spread about the cliffs keep many away. From what is told, the victims of the rebels are thrown off these cliffs to fall to their deaths. There is nothing to prove that this occurs yet those of the Aenor are not ready to find out. For those who journey here, it provides a lookout point for the whole kingdom and does provides it usefulness, especially whenever it comes to spying on the enemy.

Quen Bog
With its murky waters and thick mud, it is hard to moves through these lands. The trees fill the skyline while moss hangs down frown their branches. When walking here, keep in might that each step can be treacherous, dragging a person closer and closer to their death. In some places, there are skeletons whose skin has been cleaned completely off the bones. Not only does one have to worry about the scavengers here, but wounds as well. With the amount of death that happens here, any open wounds could cause an infection or disease. Those that travel here should know the area well and understand the risks they are putting themselves in.

Plameer
Claimed to be one of the richest kingdoms around, Plameer offers those a place to escape Aenor and find the luxury that they desire. Some claim that the streets are paved with gold, even though that is only a legend. As for the castle, it has a beautiful courtyard, with apple trees and lilies as well as a small pond, which hosts to a pair of mute swans. With such things to behold, one must come here in order to see everything for themselves.

Kotere
Kotere is a kingdom bathed in blood, thanks to its past. At first, it would seem to be your average kingdom though upon closer inspection, one can see that they are built on the ways of war. Guards linger upon the outside of the castle daily and can also be seen lingering within the streets. Although they have a good relationship with Aenor, they have turned their backs to the kingdom and instead, decided to support the Rebels, providing them with the weapons they need for protection and their own wars.

Aweilyn
Although a small kingdom, Aweilyn makes up for it with their goods. There are many kingdoms that trade with them, trying to get goods that they cannot find elsewhere. The one thing that they are known for is their rich fabrics and beautiful dyes. It is here in which one buys their fabric for their clothes, especially if you want something that is different from those around you.

Wilceim
Once a proud kingdom, Wilceim is now swaying on the edge to its own destruction. With the recent wars that have affected the kingdom and different monarchies that have taken control, they are in ruins. Commoners are seen upon the streets, begging for food. Even the nobles seem to have something that they are looking for. Low supplies means that, chances are, this kingdom will only be a reminder of the past and what it had to offer.
