Rules and Guidlines When starting a RPG
  • First and formost, follow the rules of the forum you are posting your roleplay in
  • Make sure to give some limits and rules for the RPG
  • Give instructions, and a background story. The story can be simple, like describing the habitat, or complex, whatever the roleplay calls for
  • Give a profile for people to follow (name, size, weight, description, ect)
  • Be fair. Don't say "only I can be 1,000 pounds, everyone else has to be 500"
Rules and Guidlines When Joining a Roleplay
  • Follow the roleplay's rules, of course
  • No spamming, and try to refrain from one liners
  • Be as discriptive as possible, a line like "I attack you" can easily be changed into something more descriptive
  • No whining if something doesn't go your way. If someone is really doing something that is unfair, then PM one of the admins or mods
  • Follow the roleplay. Don't just say/do something random that had nothing to do with where the roleplay is heading
Roleplay Format

OOC:- Stands for out of character. Put that when you want to say something out of your character.

Normal type when narating

""-quotations are used when you speak

**-used when making a sound ( *BOOM* )

<>-used for telepathic contact

New rule. When you post it MUST be three sentences long. This isn't asking for much as most RPG forums make you write at least two paragraphs, three sentences is usually for beginner RPGers. I have decided to make this rule because for one, one of the rules is to refrain from one liners, which I am seeing a lot of, and two when we start to advertise on more advance RPG forums people might not want to join.

Some tips for making replies longer:

Talk about what your character is thinking, smelling, hearing, seeing, and feeling at the time. Talk about the surrounds, talk about the weather, anything can be done to make a post longer.

*New Rule

Let's say you are in a battle and someone is waiting for you to reply, but you are not online. Then, everyone else comes in the RPG in the middle of a battle and starts playing. 3 pages later, you finally get on and you see the 3 pages. You are totally lost by then.

PLEASE don't do this, it is unfair to the person who is offline and it is very frustrating if it happens to you. So, if some people are in a battle or important activity, don't post until the RPG goes on for pages when a main character at the moment is offline. You may still post, just don't flood the RPG.

*If you do proceed to not follow this rule, your posts will be deleted to control flooding*

Oh and guys, compound sentences do not count. It must have 3 periods if you are in an RPG. Plus, some of you could add a little more detail in what you post ;)

There are some of us that are STILL not following this rule. There is no longer a 3-strike rule. You will be instantly warned.
