this is where after you've read the rules and the plot you can post you application here. all applicants of selfless, cold & composed will be looked over here. you must use the template provided. don't even think about changing the code. after your application is finished an admin will determine whether your application is denied or accepted.

this is where aim conversations are held. you can also post a cell phone thread for your character. lastly, characters can interact through letters. this will probably be the most popular with patients and their friends and family.

this is where you are allowed to have your character's photo album and journal. you must sign up for one.

basically, it's a room where everyone can hang out. in this case, it's the visiting room of the asylum, seeing as how the patients can't leave. have at it. just don't let big plots take place. make sure you rp plenty on the board, too. wouldn't want it getting taken away. |

Front Desk
Although not as dilapidated as the exterior, the front desk is still somewhat dull. Peeling wall paper and tacky polyester chairs fill the small room. Make sure to check in if a visitor; strangers will not be tolerated.

Exam Rooms
Whether you're being examined by a doctor, or you're sick as a dog, you'll be found here. Pristine while sheets cover the beds, and the floors and walls are also white. The rooms are oddly innocent looking.

Patient's Rooms
This is where the patients reside. Most rooms consist of one bed, one desk, one chair, and a small restroom. Patients with more control over their minds are allowed books, paper, and sometimes even televisions.

Solitary Confinement
If you're a danger to others and yourself, or if you've acted out violently, the staff of Hawthorn will place you in this dark room for long lengths of time. It's been rumored that some staff put patients in here for masochistic purposes... but those rumors have not yet been brought to fruition.

The Commons
A bright room filled with overstuffed chairs and a rickety television. Patients gather here during the day to "hang out," or just sit and stare at the wall.

Offices
The offices of the administration at Hawthorn can be found here. If a door is closed make sure to knock first... you never know what may be going on behind closed doors.

The Grounds
Hawthorn Asylum is set on a large expanse of Massachusetts property. Beautiful maple trees shade the land, throwing large shadows across the grass. Patients are only allowed outside with supervision.

Perhaps the hippest place in town, Zest is the place to be at night. The pulsating beat of the bass can be heard from blocks away, and not only is there music and dancing, but the food and drink is top notch. See you there?

Anywhere outside, really. Just make sure you don't walk around at night... some places of Hawthorn aren't entirely safe.
