today is gonna be the day
right in the middle of it all - smack dab in manhattan's upper east side - is the one and only mount sinai medical centre. it's big, it's fancy, and it has enough doctors to maybe find a cure for cancer. if they were looking for it. the specialists who work here have a wide range of specialties, and to work for one of these doctors is a chance of a lifetime. and honestly, only a crazy person would turn them down. but that's just me. but not only are there the elite of doctors, but also interns, nurses, and various other staff, and patients who come from not only all over the country - but all over the world. everyone wants to get healed at mount sinai, but the question is - can they?

penthouses. here is where the rich and fabulous live. you know, the likes of girls who rule the upper east side with their pinky fingers. keep in mind, one of their rooms is infinitely more expensive than the entire house of someone with a lower income. most commonly found on park avenue. |

townhomes. these are basically multi-story apartments, very similar to brownstones, although a bit more spaced out. these are also more expensive than their more cramped counterparts, and that is evident in the decor and taste of those who live here. |

brownstones. these are more cramped than a townhome, yet historic and kind of cozy. if you live here, you're well-off, but not rich, and usually you don't have friends from school over. after all, they're probably wealthier than you and not having to live in a house like this. |

apartments. wow, very few people on the upper east side live in these. they usually have some fancy name, like loft or suite, but they're much nicer than these. but let's remember those doctors who are still paying off the debts they've acquired for their education. |

upper east side. ah, all of you rich kids can breathe now. after all, the air seems to be cleaner than on the west side, right? home of luxurious shops and kids with more money than entire families on the west side, be sure to make your stop in the upper east side memorable. |

midtown. well, it's not east, and it's not west. so, it's in the middle, hence the name 'mid-town'. you can find quite a good few uniting spots between the two communities, but don't expect upper east siders and upper west siders to be holding hands. at least publicly. |

upper west side. a dramatic difference from the east, the west side is where the kids from mercer high rule. don't think that by showing some fancy credit card or a wad of cash that you'll be safe. you'll just be a victim. |
