 Logitech G500 mouse, Profiles

I have one but cant use it. It holds only one profile on its ram so if it is the game profile (like binding m2 to crouch, scroll wheel press to nades, the 2 extra buttons to pistol and special weapon bank 5) no way to use it as an ordinary mouse when it comes to general use.

Tried both the software that came with it and the most recent software >>>> same result.

What am I missing? I'm willing to try it again on my dinosaur notebook. Notebook is damn slow so I cant store the profiles (if possible) on the notebook.

Help much appreciated from anyone who uses that mouse...thanks in advance.

sure my notebook is too old but that is not the reason....do you have a gaming profile stored on your g5?

my mouse is plug and play no problem, but using the default profile like a standard mouse....probem is storing a custom gaming profile and in the same time using it as an ordinary mouse, like the A4Tech X7 one I am currently using smile.gif

thanks J

RdWolf, you are not a human being...no. You're an angel !!!!

Very helpful indeed, I ran through it and the gaming profile has to be stored on the pc, contrary to what Logitech says everywhere!!!!

So, basically the mouse is useless in gaming if more than one pc is used coz its ram only takes the default profile smile.gif

I'm sleepy now and can't focus right so I'll try it soon. Thanks. icon_surfing.gif
