On some DM server I joind laately, I die most of the time and run out of lives...no more deployments this round.

Part of it is I don't know the maps that well, or at all

Another part is i have the jump binded to spacebar...so I hit it so many times as a reflex....

That is a nice bind on obj servers..but not on DM servers.....

What do I do? Change the bind of jump? I am used to it for years now, and I rarely played DM matches so on all obj-based servers, the bind of a jump tp spacebar was cool.

What do I do with same cfg on DM and OBJ servers?

bind anyKey that is comfortable for you.

just go to setting when u r on DM and choose space Bar for jump.

That will not change my autoexec or wof_mp.cfg?, Rey?

From noob experience, when a key is binded to an action using same cfg, it remains the same all over servers. Hmm..it sucks playing against AoD when i just press spacebar as a reflex, meaning to jump, not meaning to tap out....

Too bad for me and my team. I go skull in a very short time..

It must be a cfg world to play honey..As Sorter has said: know what you put in cfg"...

I won't play DM anymore...just obj. DM servers have cool maps...pink is sad, pink :angry:

Pinky,the best way is to switch cfg in your brain.Meaning,aha now I play death match,I'll play acording to DM rules etc :rolleyes: DM,Obj,even Capture the flag, have same cool maps Pinky ;)

yeah Groffy, DM server have very cool maps some of them I know, some I rarely know, and some I know nothing about.

hard to know a map when Sophie is an enemy...always headshoot pinky brains..but I will try....CP is what I liked, Groffy, but I die so many much when Sophie is shooting me.

Pressing Spacebar is tapout on every server ;)

edit: Unless the mod isn't changed. There was a mod used on H4S and HASDM afaik which was modified in the way that if you press "crouch" you tapout instantly and if you press spacebar you tapout when you spawn, so you had the chance to wait until a teammate arrives.

OMG Ref, you still remember that mod?? First time I saw it, I almost shitted in my pants...hahahaha

It was a cool setting, Ref, and the server kept on streaming that: basically it was "C" instead of space bar...

and it proved very handy cos server kept on streaming it...
