In the elven lands of Raguinia lies the great kingdom of Ríocht. It is a time of mourning as the beloved king has been found dead in his royal chambers. His wife has taken the throne and the people have embraced her as their sovereign queen. No one questions her story that assassins poisoned her husband; no one but her eldest son, the rightful heir to the throne. He believes his mother, drunk with power, has murdered her husband and betrayed the kingdom to form an alliance with Noxstern, an evil kingdom that controls an army of the dead. Without proof of his mother's plans, the young prince is wary of seeking support to overthrow her, though he believes that it may only be a matter of time before the kingdom is lost to the growing darkness overtaking the land.
The king is dead.

Ríocht is a fantasy rpg that takes place in a medieval elven kingdom where magic is feared, though it can be found if you know where to look. The main plot revolves mostly around the castle and the royal family, but we love and encourage sub-plots! Canon and original characters are welcome. We have no bans. We also have an original Bestiary where contributions are encouraged and interactive battles in the forest where you choose the outcome.  currently  season: spring weather: clear and mild

Come into the graveyard, I'll make the dead wake...
I was browsing around to see what kind of trouble I could get Lillith into but there really wasn't any threads that seemed to be the perfect starting point for my little mischief maker. At this point I'm pretty much open for any kind of situation. It could just be a casual encounter, or someone coming to Lillith looking for a body guard or to do some dirty work that a noble may not want to do, or just really anything!
A little bit of background about Lillith, she is a full blooded Dorchan, youngest child out of three. She is the second child to have inherited her father's magical abilities though her other sister that was born with it was killed. Lillith was taken by her mother to attempt to escape the oppression of their society and it wasn't until a bounty was put on their heads that anyone bothered with them. When the bounty hunters did catch up, her mother was killed in the struggle but Lillith was able to escape and though they frown on magic, especially "Dark" magic, she figured the safest place to be would be as close to the royals of Ríocht.
Now she is pretty much making her living as a body guard since she is a fierce fighter even without the use of her magic and even more so with the use of it though she doesn't like to advertise the fact that she has it. Especially the fact that her magic is dark it tends to be even more dangerous for people to know.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!
