We like brutal shit. Violence, blood, guts, surprise sex, (because it sounds so much better than ‘rape’,) murders, car chases, drugs, death, dirty hookers that steal your money and then run you over with your own car… If you don’t like any of the above, sucks for you. Take a hike. oo2. REGISTERING YOUR BITCHES!FIRST AND LAST NAME ONLY! ALL LOWER CASE!
And also… fuck off with the stupid usernames. If you sign up with one, I’ll shoot you in the face. And then ban you. No second chances for you. Especially considering this rule is only the 2nd one. You know what lands in the ‘stupid username’ category. I’m not going to waste my valuable time thinking up an example. oo3. CURRENTLY ACCEPTING AND SUBPLOTS!Here's a new system, gangstas. The site uses a "Currently Accepting" List apposed to canons, because apparently, canons bother people. Anyway, this list allows a little more freedom in the character making process, but it also allows the admins to watch out for the number of males and females that are being created and the number of characters in each member group. PAY ATTENTION TO THIS LIST. We give no mercy to anyone who bitches about little shit concerning this list. Get over it, and get used to it. Subplots are also very important. Someone has taken a really long time thinking up awesome ones for you to play out. Please do it correctly. Once a subplot’s characters have been filled, you have one week to get the ball rolling. If you haven’t sorted out at least one thread by then, we’ll take your characters away from you and open them back up for other members to snag. Simple. :]
[Pertaining to Subplots] If it happens that two or more people post an application for the same character at the same time, the admins will review all people trying out and they will be put to a vote in the admin forum. The person with the most votes gets the character. oo4. APPLICATION TIME BABY!Yes we have an application process. Most sites do now. Get over it. If you don’t want to write one, go and sign up to a less advanced site where n00bs ‘one-line’ their posts. You’ll fit right in. When you’re done, post it wherever you’re told to and wait it out. DO NOT PESTER THE ADMINS ABOUT READING IT! We’ll get to it in our own good time. We have lives too. If you’re denied, don’t take it personally. We just have really high standards for our sites, and it means that this one time, you didn’t quite reach that mark. Feel free to try again though. Everyone gets a fair chance at joining. oo5. POSTING!One line like a dirty n00b and I WILL SHOOT YOU. We’re a LITERATE RP site. That means we want good quality and lengthy posts. The majority of our users aim for at least a 500 word minimum, but there are also the members that write up to and over 1,500 words per post. Don’t let the site down with your n00by one-lining spam please. Put effort into your post and take pride in your characters. It’s not much to ask. And while I’m on the topic of posting, good spelling is key too. You don’t have to be the worlds best speller, but if you post like shit then I will be forced to kick you in the ovaries/groin -- it really depends on your gender. Microsoft Word comes with a spell checker, and it’s GOD! There are also numerous ones located around the internet, much like this one here. Use them. We will be monitoring posts around the site, and we will intervene in any topics that we don’t think are up to par. I’m not saying you have to post 98765487454646 words. All we ask is minimum 3 good sized paragraphs for an RP post and for you to post at least twice a week IC. Stick to that and you’ll be fine. :] PS. Keep OOC and IC topics separate. Only post OOC in the OOC section, and the same for IC topics. DON’T MAKE US GO ADMIN NAZIS… BECAUSE WE WILL IF FORCED TO! oo6. CHARACER SHIZZLE!ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE 25 POSTS BEFORE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE A NEW MEMBER. ANY APPLICATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE IF THE MEMBER DOES NOT HAVE 15-20 POSTS WILL BE DENIED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Multiple characters are cool. As long as you can keep up with them all. Don’t make them if you’re not going to use them. Simple as ABC. You’re allowed 4 characters, two of which must me males… yadda yadda yadda. Sex imbalances aren’t cool. LETS KEEP IT AS EVEN AS POSSIBLE, KIDS! If you’re maxed out in the character department, we’ll be happy to delete one BY RANDOM SELECTION. xD. Just kidding. Let us know which one bites the dust and we’ll get rid of them for you. Then you can make that new one you’ve been wanting. YOU CAN’T DELETE A SUBPLOT CHARACTER IF YOUR SUBPLOT IS FULL THOUGH! Nope. You chose them, so you’re stuck with them unless we say any different. oo7. DRAMA AND SHITDon’t think up clichéd ideas about heartache and shit like that. Everyone has done one at some stage or another and basically, it’s worn the fuck out and we hate it. Think up something that has depth and substance… something worth RPing. Something that makes you proud to have thought it up. oo8. MARY FUCKING SUES.Everyone has flaws. Give your character some. It’s not freaking hard. If you submit a “perfect” character, you will get declined. It’s as simple as that. oo9. POWER PLAYING.You can’t RP an action or a thought or a like or a dislike for anyone other than your character, at least, not without the creator’s expressed opinion… but being on a literate RP site… you already know that. I’m not going to waste my time explaining this in any more depth. Just don’t do it. o1o. SCENE QUEENS SHOULD BE KICKED IN THE OVARIES!We’re allowing celebrities and models as PB’s, but NO SCENE QUEENS. WE ADMINS HATE THEM WITH A PASSION! We also really don’t want to see any cartoon characters, anime shit or random hoes that you found on MySpace. That’s just not how we roll around here. o11. EXTRA STUFF YOU SHOULD READ!Be polite. Manners don’t cost a thing. Respect your fellow member, yadda yadda yadda. You’re not morons. You know what goes in this section. The only thing I am going to mention is if someone creates a set of images for you to use in your signature, credit them. It’s just common courtesy.
Don’t stretch the board with your sig. Pretty self explanatory. I’d say no bigger than 500 pixels in width by 300 pixels high. That’s a fairly standard signature size for a banner.
Abide by our simple rules and we’ll all get along just fine. We’re not unreasonable people, we just don’t like to see something we envisioned going to shit because no one followed our easy set up.
The rules are subject to change without notice, so keep an eye on them.
