It has been one year since seven-year old Carson Russo was murdered outside of the San Rocco Church. The Italian Mafia has vowed to take out the murderers and the entire Irish Mafia in a massacre so large, that it would leave the streets of Chicago red for months. The police can't even find the will to control the tumultuous situation any longer. No one is safe. It's all out war, and there is so much blood to be shed.
THIS IS PURE SUNSHINE.

PERSONALITY:
If you were to ever see Danny away from his work, you’d think he was a slacker, someone completely unaware of where he was and what was going on around him. You see, when Danny isn’t working; he’s sleeping, making up for the hours he works. If for some reason he’s out, he’ll probably be too tired to talk to you most of the time. The only times when he is ever fully aware of what he’s doing is when he’s working.

He used to be pretty fond of going out at night with his friend, miserably trying to get a girl. Danny’s always been quite shy, and with woman he just freezes up. He’s spent most of his life with men, and was simply never taught how to act around them, even though his friends have tried to help him. Before his Uncles death Danny was a popular guy with plenty of people around him, now he likes to keep to himself.

Of course after his Uncles death Danny became emotionally unstable for a good month. Those were the darkest days of his life, and Danny barely remembers them. It’s all a blur to him, but Cornelia told him about them. After hearing about them, Danny made himself a promise that nothing in the world would ever make him like that. The thought of being crazy and useless was to strange and bizarre to him, and Danny didn’t even want to think about it.

Danny when working is extremely caught up in what he’s doing, paying attention to every single detail. He tries to not let anything be over looked, and goes over things with order and care. If something goes wrong and Danny knows it’s his fault for looking it over, he mentally beats himself to the pulp. He’s taught himself to accept failure, and that in a lot of ways has gotten him no where.

His father has retired now and spends most of his days out of the house in bars. Danny is basically the man of the house. His pay comes in and he feeds his mother and sister with it. Family is the second most important thing in his life next to his job for him. Danny lives in a small apartment not to far away from the police department, but everyone knows he barely ever spends any time in their. Despite his shy nature, when working he’s fierce. All around though, he’s a nice person that just likes to take care of people and hates anyone that’s hurt someone else.

BUT I SAY WE CONTROL OUR LIVES.

PARENTS: Frank Wickham and Lillian Hart
SIBLING(s): Younger sister, Cornelia May Wickham, 15
OTHER RELATIVES: His uncle Alfred who used to be a cop before he died.
HISTORY: Danny was born and raised in the city of Chicago. His family was of middle income, and he has never been accustomed to the finer things in life. As a salesman, his father had to travel across the country, and Danny as the man of the house took it upon himself to take care of his mother while he was gone. Lillian’s health had been bad ever since she had Cornelia, so most of the days he stayed home and helped her out.

When he wasn’t home helping his mother with Cornelia, or at school, he was with his Uncle Alfred. His Uncle was a detective and Danny got to go all over the city of Chicago helping him out. From a young age he was interested in crime fighting and such, but ironically, he’s never been able to get over his fear of blood. Uncle Alfred was very strict and good at his job, and Danny looked up to him more than anyone else in the world.

Graduating School with high honors, Danny was ready to follow his Uncles footsteps as a cop. Starting his job, he could think of nothing else but saving people and getting all the glory. He tried to keep his mind away from all the bad stuff going around him and made things a lot more sugar coated than they were.

It wasn’t until one night during a stake out they were able to catch some of the mafia members coming into the wear house to make a deal. It seemed like every other time that they were against the mafia, they shot them, they shot back, they either caught them or they got away. Only this night Uncle Alfred had gotten shot while Danny was right there. His Uncle’s killer hadn’t walked away after shooting him, and while Danny was hysterically trying to save his dieing Uncle, he watched. Noticing him, Danny shot at him, his hands trembling and missing him by a lot. The man then ran, and Danny ran after him, his mind set on killing him. He wasn’t thinking right, and just as he was about to catch up with him, Danny himself got shot.

He spent a couple days in a coma, the shot to his side completely blacking everything out. Danny didn’t get out of the hospital for a while, since a lot of the doctors were afraid the shot had done something to his head because Danny wasn’t being himself. He was waking up screaming, muttering to himself in his sleep and when he was awake. Danny went crazy for a while, but finally found his head again after attending his Uncles funeral.

During the funeral, Danny promised himself that he would find his Uncle’s killer and set the city of Chicago at ease before he died. He wanted to stop all the violence, stop the people from dieing. It wasn’t even for himself now; it was for everyone else, but especially for his Uncle. His job became his life and nothing else mattered.

MEMBER TITLE: Just a Detective
ANYTHING ELSE?: This idea for this site is awesome, by the way.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: The dim lighting shrouded the place in darkness, with shadows gliding across the walls freely like a murder of crows. In the corner there was a couple making out, and somewhere in the back there was probably a girl throwing up. The night was still young, and the main attraction hadn’t even arrived.

Revolution, as the club liked to be called, was a club that gave Indie bands a place to play. Haruka had heard about the place a couple days ago and when she had checked it out, discovered that they were having a battle of the bands sort of thing. Usually, she didn’t bother going to those types of events, the bands would be no good sometimes or the kids at the place would be real assholes. She didn’t have anywhere else to go; she was only in L.A. for tonight and would be leaving for Japan tomorrow. It hadn’t been on her plans to go back to Japan so early, but things changed.

X Japan had just come out with a new song, after years of being broken up; finally. Its name was “I.V.” and was going to be the ending song for the movie “Saw I.V.”. There was going to be a music video and they were letting people be in it. Haruka almost died when she heard this, because she was dead broke and couldn’t go to be in the video or at least see them play. Luckily, some photographer in New York had wanted to take some pictures of her for a magazine and had given her enough money for a flight to L.A. Her dad had paid for the flight to Japan though, as if he knew she was coming even though she hadn’t told him.

Haruka sat down in a table at the back of the club, away from the stage and a group of punk kids. She took a long drag from her cigarette and blew it out in circles. Her shirt was a white collar dress shirt, with the sleeves rolled up just once. It tucked into her short black skirt with a giant black belt wrapping around her thin hips. The stockings she wore were dark, with web designs running down the length of them. Her shoes were a dusty grey four inch high heel.

Her black hair was cut short, the back slightly shorter than the front bangs. They fell over her right eye just a bit, which annoyed Haruka a lot. Black eyeliner lined her dark big eyes, with mascara all over her eyelashes. It wasn’t most nights that she wore makeup, but tonight she had felt like it. Haruka was skinny and short, around 5’3” but the heels she wore made her around 5’6”. She looked pretty tonight, compared to some times when she just looked dead and exhausted.

If there was one thing she hated more than people claiming they could play an instrument, it was people being late for a gig. Only one band had arrived, and it was nearing time for them to start the live. She sighed, crossed her legs and took another drag from her cigarette, while the music playing from the speakers drifted slowly into her ears.
