Please read this before doing anything on the site. Thank you.
    General Rules:

Hello and welcome to Pokemon United!, a Pokemon role-playing site! We're glad you have decided to join us, but first, let's lay down some ground rules.

Like any other role-playing site, we do have some rules that we expect you to follow!
1.) Only join if you would like to role play! Do not join knowing fully well that you will not be an active member.

2.) Please be kind to other members. This is an all-experience role-play web site, meaning that people with any role-play experience can join. Do not antagonize the members that aren't as great as you are, if that is the case.

3.) No spamming the boards.

4.) Do not role-play mature content unless you make it clear to all other members that your thread is mature content.

5.) Please do not post inappropriate images on this site.

6.) Try to avoid "Mary Sue" and "Gary Stu" characters. Nobody likes those cliche anime-style girls or giant muscle-y men. Keep it original and have fun with your characters!

7.) Keep in mind that your Pokemon/ characters/ trainers are not invincible!

8.) No god modding/ power playing (taking control of the another person's characters).

9.) Please keep your posts semi-literate. We don't expect you to be a role-playing master, but try to use proper grammar and spelling.

10.) Pokémon teams are still limited to only six, but if you differentiate somewhere in your application which Pokémon are on your main team and which Pokémon, for instance, stay at home, then more than six is permitted.

11.) The shiny limit is set at two unless you win any shiny Pokémon from events.

12.) Legendaries on teams are strictly prohibited unless role-playing on Legendary islands or if they are won from an event.

13.) Have fun! Role-playing shouldn't feel like a chore.

Thank you for reading the rules! We certainly hope you have a great time here at Pokemon United!!

Just so we know that you have actually read the rules, please post the word sheepish somewhere in your application.
