Nina is the type of person that seems like she is just made of flaws. She is annoying, sometimes a major bitch, too. One of the main things about Nina is she would love to get her way, all the time if she could, though she rarely ever does though. Nina also loves perfection. Her room is always clean, and she always does her homework the night she gets it. One of the main things that someone would say when you mentioned Nina is that she is a know-it-all. Since she was a little girl she was in love with fairytales. She knows everything there is about them, meaning she knows a lot about her fellow students that they don't know themselves. That little fact gets on peoples nerves quite often, especially the ones who don’t know who there own character is.

Despite her many flaws, Nina does have a few good traits. If you try to get to know her, you will learn that she is one of the nicest people, to the people she cares about. Whenever there is a lost new student at the school, she will always be there to help them find their way to class, even if it means being late to her own. Also, Nina is incredibly loyal. She will never tell a friend secret or turn her back on a friend. She would never ever think about betraying a person she cared about. Another great thing about her, is even though she hates the idea, she is always a great person to have on an adventure. She is amazing under pressure and great under fire. Nina is still your typical girl, who loves shopping and looking at boys with her (few) girlfriends.

overall history:
Nina was born on July 9th, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois, to a very Italian family. She grew up surrounded by loud family members and carb-loaded food. Her mother died when she was Nina was two, leaving Nerissa with her most cherished possession, a collection of fairy tales. Her father would come and read the stories to her every night, one story each night until she was old enough to read the stories herself with a flashlight under her bed. She had loved fairytales when she was younger, and the stories were her escape from cruel children, and fights with her dad. As she read the stories she slowly started to retain everything she read, remembering even the smallest details about the characters. She would even match up everyone she met with characters from her stories. She always loved ‘The Little Mermaid’, it was her favorite story, she liked the Disney version of the story enough. But she loved the original ending, well one of them, when the little mermaid was turned into an air spirit.

When she got older she started getting into music, learning the guitar and taking singing lessons, and swimming. But when she turned 11 she got the most surprising and amazing letters of her life. Her letter said that she had been admitted into Grimm’s, and was a fairytale character. It pissed her of a little that she was a crab, but got over it when she realized what she would be learning there. See, in regular school, Nina was never really the best in school. But now that she was going to Grimm's, were most of what they learned was fairytale stuff, she had turned into one of the smartest girls in her class.
