sure, i'll share a few things.

i live in Minnesota. small town near Fargo, ND.

i'm a 33 year old male. tend to work one dead end job after another. nothing great, but it pays the bills.

i'm anxiously waiting for Saturday. tickets are going on sale for a Jeff Dunham show, in February. i seriously need to get my ass to this show.

i'm the white trash of PCW. live in a trailer park. calling me strange would probably be an understatement. and, of course, i enjoy drinking (sometimes a bit too much).

i'm about as hairy as a Wookie.

of course, Viper has a huge crush on my ass. Fawn's been stalking me for the last few months, too. :D

As you all know- I took over my sister Emily's account about a year ago. I'm 27- mother of two children who are 4 and 6. I am currently working on obtaining my third degree. If you are to label me- I'm a gothic girl -which you will be able to see. My hobbies are reading up on anything to do with vampires- the occult- and listening to the greatest band ever to grace the planet- The Misfits. I've met a couple TNA wrestlers by sheer luck- a huge supporter of Ring of Honor- and fan of Nigel McGuiness. I-along with my husband Jackson- can say we know Fawn in real life

...I don't stalk anymore. You forgot to put out that plate of cookies. (Inside joke I'll have to tell everyone one day. Vanessa already knows about it.)

Alright some things about me.

- I live in a small town that I loathe.

- I am a music junkie.

- In February I will be 30.

- I work for a southern style restaurant some of you may know called Cracker Barrel.

- I have 10 tattoos.

- Although born and raised in "the south" I am not the typical southern person. I read, love to write, and think outside the "box."

As for a picture, eh maybe later.

I'm 29.

Born and raised in Cincinnati. Huge Bengals fan. Whodey!

Been a wrestling fan since i was about 5. Would have gone to wrestling school but a couple things stopped me: A.) the price $3,000 @ Les Thatcher's Heartland Wrestling Association for only 6 months of training or $1,500 for a year of trainign at a smaller school (owned by New Jack!) at a Hardcore promotion up the street from where i live. Couldn't afford either one at the time. Now that I can, it's too late for me. And B.) My knee. Broke my leg when i was 14 and it never really healed right.

I'm married, been with my wife for 11 years, married for 4. We have a 4 year old son, Nick, and our daughter, Ava, is almost 3.

I work for an insurance company. Not the most fun job. I answer the phone and take claims.

I'm 30

Born and raised just outside of Chicago, IL.

I am a history teacher at a community college, and aspiring writer - novel, comic book all in the works.

Been a wrestling fan since going to Wrestlemania 2 here in Chicago, but have more 'car accident' fondness of the early 90' of WCW as far as my major likes in prowrestling... I dig the really bad gimmicks and storylines of wrestling over the actual wrestling. I was also a regular follower of ECW during most of the 90's and made a few trips to the ECW Arean in Philly.

I am married, with our first kid on its way. Hopefully, she'll be a Cubs fan like her dad.

JD:
HA! I give you credit. And to answer the questions; no, no, no, Yes, and no. Actually with the "culture" of the south, I am the opposite. Examples:

1) Not everything has to be deep fried.

2) I don't go to any fast food place, ordering the biggest size with "a Diet Coke".

3) Toby Keith, Kid Rock, and Lynard Skynard are FAR over-rated.

4) I'm not a believer in religion.

Just some examples.

Darth:
Glad you are getting into Ring of Honor. See Vanessa...I got someone into ROH! Who is your favorite wrestler, past or present?

Hamm:
I was a history major when I was in college! What's your favorite area of history? And question about Chicago: is it true people from Chicago don't call it "Chi-Town?"

i used to enjoy history when i went to school. honestly, i could absolutely skip out on those classes & still pass with flying colors. it came that easy for me. when i refused to put an effort into the classes, i'd only get B's.

honestly, if taking History classes would've gotten me somewhere in life, i would've gone to college for that. i seriously would've majored in all the history stuff i could.

Fawn....since you proclaim to be the opposite of your heritage, would Southern phrases be like a foreign language to you? obviously you're literate, which is opposite of the South.

also, i have to mention about myself........i do tend to carry many stereotypical tendancies about myself. in this part of the country, we do have a pretty strong Scandanavian heritage. i actually catch myself saying "Uffda" & "Ya, sure" a lot. a lot of the stereotypical sayings will probably be heard coming from my mouth, "don'tcha know" (another one of those sayings)?

i like Lefsa. oddly, i've never tried lutefisk.

i've been accused of having a noticeable German/Norwegian accent (i've got a strong heritage with both ethnic groups). oddly, the people that notice it the most are the people that have lived here all their lives.

oddly, i've never had sauerkraut (sp?) either. with my heritage, you'd have thunk that i'd at least try it. never got around to doing it, yet.

LMAO!!!! JD, someone I work with come off with some word and I was told I had the utter "WTF!" look on my face.

I love to argue with people on the word wash. Almost everyone says "warsh" and it drives me insane.

JD, you'll enjoy this.....seven years ago I worked at a rest area. Two new hires came on and I had to train them. One was a boy from Tennessee, guy born and raised in Detroit. I had to play "translator" a few times because they could not understand the other.

And for the record, I mega loathe most southern guys.

My area of study is post modern America (1950 to present), dealing with revolutions and what causes them for the most part. It's my favorite part of history and I really enjoy teaching it the way I do -- I wouldn't get away with it in a public high school.

Pretty much my class looks at all the modern problems and which could lead to a future revolution in any natural state. I give my students the choice between Vonnegut's "Welcome to the Monkey House", Orwell's "1984", Huxley's "Brave New World", and Zamyatin's "We" to read for class -- which are very controversial books and make them write a paper tracing how we could get from today to the various states seen in those books. In essence, I'm asking them the question "what good comes from having a government?"

Oddly enough, the most radical papers are the military veterans I have had.

I also really enjoy the half-truths and outright lies that we perpetuate throughout history. Including all the "forgotten" history that society tends to have. Which is simply fascinating

---

Yeah, I don't hear a lot of people calling it "Chi-town" around here.

Shockmaster and Black Scorpion ruled.

my dad mentioned that back in the navy, one of his buddies was a Southern boy. i want to say he was out of New Orleans, though i could be mistaken. dad constantly played hell trying to understand the dude.

since dad worked in CIC, which i believe he described as radar & communications, it was normal to have to communicate with other ships from that room. many times, if that other ship had a Southerner on the radio, the only people that had a clue what was being said was another Southern person.

he'd mention that when the'd be docked in places like Charleston & other communities, the whole lifestyle threw him for a loop. he'd go to a particular restaraunt, on a regular basis. this particular waitress, a black woman, would come off about as much of a stereotype as you could get. of course, she'd rip into him for being a stereotypical white northern boy.

she'd get a good laugh at him for not even knowing what Grits were.
