rules and regulations: here are the rules and regulations for project amortentia. it is expected that you are aware of them, have read them thoroughly and you accept our terms and conditions by registering.

rule one: this is an advanced roleplaying community. there will be a word count of four hundred fifty (450) words per in character post. it's honestly not that hard to type up four hundred fifty words, and at PA we do understand writer's block. don't make it an excuse however, if you're suffering from writer's block then take a break, don't give us one liners. i do not encourage inactivity with this statement. amongst length, we expect quality. proper spelling, grammar, syntax - the works. you have a word processor, it comes with nearly any computer now adays. spell check is a life saver for some.

rule two: forum rating. project amortentia is rated M for mature audiences only, usually 18+. i can't control whether you lie about your age or not, and in my experience, some of the younger folk can roleplay out rather mature acts fairly well. i will not limit you, this forum i'm sure will be littered with language, violence and explicit sex. please navigate cautiously.

rule three: as many sites cannot trust their members to read the rules, i'll give you a "phrase code" to add to your audition when you apply. i'm not going to stick it out in plain view, so look out for an odd word while you're reading these.

rule four: in addition to the mature themes on this site, the expected age limit is that no one under thirteen joins. personally, i (and many others, no doubt) would feel awkward if they found out that they were roleplaying a sexual act out with a twelve year old on the other end of the computer screen.

rule five: please respect the staff and other members of PA. it will not be tolerated if these is any hostility towards others, especially if (phrase = sectumsempra) racism or any other conduct is played out. in roleplays it is acceptable, but out of character we don't accept it. if a member can't handle a situation, never be afraid to contact someone on the staff list at any time.

rule six: regarding made-up characters, we will accept only witches and wizards. whether they're adults or students is your choice. no werewolves, vampires, veela, ect. try to keep the slytherin/gryffindor ratio even with the hufflepuffs and ravenclaws.

regarding the cbox: yeah, don't advertise in it. don't go overboard with the profanity. don't plot too much (it takes up all of the conversation and leaves others feeling left out) and be polite. that's about it. don't abuse the emoticons, either. u__u;
