General rules

1) Based on the mature nature of Torchwood we have made this site 14+, sorry but it will get very gory and adult in places.

2) Be polite to Admins, Mods and everyone else. RESPECT is the name of the game on [OUT OF TIME]

3) Register with your character's code name, if possible. Names can be changed, but it makes things a lot easier if you do it from the beggining.

4) Read the plot please people. It is quite important.

5) Try and post at least once a week, in character preferably, just to let us know what has happened to you. Accounts inactive for over a month without notice, will be moved to the character graveyard. Another month and the character will be put up for adoption.

6) Please, post characters forms on the pending board; when accepted they will be moved to the accepted board, in which ever institute or section they belong.

8) Original Characters are allowed. We may put a block on OC's if we have very few canons.

9) Don't stretch the page with large images. Offending images will be deleted.

10) The C-box is a privilege, not a right. Please do not spam or advertise in the C-box.

11) Do not attempt to post in the IC boards while your character is in pending.

12) Characters can be WIP for a maximum of four days. If you have a problem, PM an admin.

13) When posting your application, please use your characters name in a surname,forename format, with their codename in the discription box.(Bananas are good)

14) Important note: No Time Lords. None of the Doctor's reincarnations. This is a very important note.

IC rules::

1)No slang whilst in character; speaking is fine, you wouldn’t expect Captain Jack to speak perfect English all of the time, would you?

2)Please make your posts about two paragraphs in length. One paragraph is about five or six sentences of varying length

3)Cursing isn’t forbidden but let's keep it to a logical level and character appropriate.

4)No power playing or god-moding no one is invunerable. Even Superman has his Kryptonite.

5) Please do not post an entire post in o0c, a sentence of explanation is fine.

6) Original characters: No long lost sibling;aunt;uncle;estranged second cousins ect. Originality, not carbon copies.

6) This is lit/Advanced site. Meaning, detail; spelling. We can handle writer's block and the odd misspelling, but everybody has some form of Spell Checker, even the low-tech version in the form of a dictionary.
