With the new skin being applied to Muse, the site is in need of a new banner. Instead of a banner made by me or Ella, this contest is for any member that has skill with Photoshop, Gimp, Fireworks, Paint, or any other image-editing program out there. Any member can submit their banners and the admins will choose one to put up in the place of our temporary one.
REQUIREMENTS- The banner you make must be no more than 650 pixels wide by 200 pixels high.
- It must match the site in basic colors and style.
- The text should say 'muse' with the subtext 'wonder.imagine.create' somewhere on it.
- All the text should be in a simple, readable font - preferably [eurofence], [print clearly], [santana] or something similar.
- The banner MUST be your own creation, and you will not win if we discover someone else made it for you.
SUGGESTIONS- Keep it simple - fifty pictures smushed into a 200x600 image makes it a lot harder to read the text.
- Use the site's colors. The hex codes for suggested colors are 'f4f4f4' for the background, as well as the maintitle colors 'c5e696', 'cce9ec', and 'eeec90'.
- Try and make a banner that represents what Muse is about - themes like books, writing, creativity, etc.
- You can submit as many banners as you can make, but try and keep quality over quantity - I would rather have one near-perfect banner that has hours of effort put towards its completion than five ordinary banners.
The contest will continue as long as the admins feel is appropriate, possibly for the next month or so. Until then, good luck!
