These are the various definitions of 'Muse' from my battered Webster's dictionary: "1. to meditate quietly; reflect. 2. One of the nine Greek goddesses who presided over the arts. 3. The inspiration that motivates a poet, artist or thinker."

Each of these definitions inspired the title of this site. It is a site for writers of every genre, from real-life problems to dragons and magic. Whatever inspires you and helps you put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) is welcome here.

However, this is not just a role-play site. If you don’t think you’re good at writing, post in the ‘reviews’ or ‘snippets’ board and ask for opinions on your writing, and you’re guaranteed to get comments and suggestions to help you improve. There are occasional contests

Don’t worry if this is your first role-play site, either - just ask if you’re confused, and we’ll help. This is a community, where you can chat about movies or music, debate about any topic under the sun, or simply lay back and play some silly forum games.

The first priority here is to make you feel welcome and help you out. Read the rules, post your access role-play and sit back and chat while you wait for it to be accepted, and don’t be afraid to introduce yourself!
