Lost, A poem about the holocaust.

My name is Carly Schwartz, at least it was. All of the Jewish citizens of Germany were forced to take on the same same. For boys it is Isaac and for girls it is Sarah. We have lost our names. My father was forced to close his business. We have lost our business. My mother was fired from her job at the hotel on 3rd street. We have lost our money. My brothers and I had to leave school. We have lost our education. Our pets were taken away by the green police. We have lost our companions. The soldiers have taken away several other families. We have lost our friends. We are no longer allowed to use the radio. We have lost our sense of knowing. We have been moved to camps. We have lost our home. We were tatooed with a number yesterday. We have lost our identities. I have been separated from my brothers and parents. We have lost each other. They told us that we will never worship again. We have lost our heritage. We will never escape from the camp. We have lost our future. Thay have placed us in the gas chamber. We have lost our lives.
