Admin Applications Open!

Hello, everyone! Sorry for the delay in opening up admin applications. I was hoping to wait until the site revamp to open them up, but I'm just going to open them up now.

What are site admins?
The Neopound site admins are made up of volunteers who help keep the database clean. They are each assigned "sections" to maintain and sweep, which is sorted by species. Database admins also add or remove pets per request by Neopets users onsite.

Is this a paid job?
Database admins are not paid, whether through neopoints or real life currency.

What are the special powers that admins get?
In addition to the default member capabilities, site admins are able to add, edit, and remove pets.

What is the difference between a feepit and an anubis admin?
All admins start out as anubis admins. They are the ones with the basic admin capabilities, which including adding, removing, and editing UFA pet listings on the site. Feepit admins are a rank higher than anubis admins. They take care of resetting or changing lost passwords and activating accounts in addition to the anubis admin powers.

How can I become a feepit admin?
The only way to become a feepit admin is to be an active and helpful anubis admin. Your records must be outstanding compared to everyone else.

Do I have to be active on the Neopound forums?
Yes, you do. You don't necessarily have to post on every thread you see, but you need to have a Neopound forums account (which is not linked to your Neopound account), as well as a Neopound account. All site admins have access to an exclusive 'Admin Corner' where you will find all of the admin information you need. You can also ask for advice on what to do, as well as suggest things or complain about unclean sections. ;)

Admin applications will be open until all open slots are filled. Please remember that while this is a volunteer experience, Neopound database admins do have the responsibility to take care of their duties. If you slack off, you will be removed from your position.
