Wow I've totally been out of it for such a long time.
Has Tiger been with us in Leo before? I probably don't recognize like 3/4 of the people there haha.
I'm just glad it's coming back. =)

I've been interested in joining as well. If it's like what everyone says, then I think I will have a much better experience in Leo than on Neo. xD

But, there are slots, right? So not everyone can join at once?

From what I've heard, the web hoster managed to /lose/ some of the Leopets data. Or well, accidentally delete it. So a bunch of stuff had no backup and things... are missing.

And well... I don't think Tiger has a clue what Leopets is about and honestly I don't think he'll be a good owner.
Not when someone said "That was convenient" when everyone on the proboards was told the deletion happened. Tiger edited the post saying "PS I have downs syndrome", banned the user from the proboards /and/ Leopets. For one comment.... which pretty much everyone was thinking.

Just a heads up to those interested in applying:

Leo isn't going to be the same as it used to be.
The old leo that you've heard about and know? It's not going to be like that, Tiger says.
Right now it's in a beta phase. So if your old account is still there, you can log in and test it out. A lot of the data was deleted because the server host made a mistake so there isn't much atm. But at least it's back.

You're mixing two users into one.
He edited someone else's post who requested the post not be messed with.
And he didn't ban either of the users from the proboards or leo.
Some users' accounts were wiped out, some are still there.

And one of those users you're talking about tried logging into accounts on leo that weren't hers (He reopened the site for people to check and see if their accounts were there. You just typed your UN and you didn't need a password. Now it's just open for the accounts that are still there to test whatever he comes up with C:). So if she is now banned from leo, it's because of that. Her trying to get into accounts that weren't hers. But she isn't banned from the proboards.

The only people that were banned were banned a while ago for spamming the whole forum with inappropriate pictures.
These are two different users you're talking about, and you're mixing what happened into one user.
No I'm not saying his actions are correct, but reread the thread before posting about what happened.
There was a LOT that happened in that thread and that night. u.u

And the whole 'that was convenient' post was from someone who didn't understand what happened. They thought Tiger intentionally deleted everything when it was hostgator's fault, which thus resulted in a lot of people getting the same (and wrong) mind set that Tiger intentionally deleted it.

No, he doesn't have a clue what leo is about, because he's never played neo so he won't understand. Which is fine with me because it's going to be something new.
I'm just concerned that I won't be able to create charries. But I'm sure that won't be the case.
It's pretty much the same scenario as to why Laska created leo in the first place. So she can practice her skills and make something she'd enjoy.
So now Laska gave it to Tiger so he can practice his coding and make it something he enjoys.

Well... I kinda heard it through that user :/. You'd think they'd have some clue what the situation was.
Though I gave up with Leo a few months back, so I haven't been on the proboards. I've heard everything through the grapevine pretty much.


TBH, I think it just goes to show that theres still buttloads of drama surrounding Leo whichever way you look at it.
I've gotten fed up of it, and the attitude of the owners. I've found other places to waste my time. Places which so far, I've found little to no drama on.

I hope they were being honest with you because it sounds to me like two users getting muddled into one person.
Both of those situations happened in the same night.

They are talking about doing names differently and on there they are making a limit of how many pets you can create a day or something so when Leo starts up people don't steal all the good names

So from what I gathered that means that pets won't go back to normal
