Neopound Summer?, (Palm Tree Project?)

I couldn't think of where else to put this, so I settled with the Interactive Fun since this is where these boards have always been in the past.

I know it's been a bit dead around here lately, and I only just thought of this now, but would anyone be possibly interested in another Palm Tree Project? It is summer after all, and this was (and is) one of my most favorite parts of Neopound, our big group exchanges. Since it is summer, I would really love to do this again!

Basically, this is an interest check / "is anyone still out there" sort of thing! Or, if anyone had thought about this but didn't think to say anything, or if we had anything planned?

Anyway, I would really love to do this again if we get enough interest! I know that I haven't managed in the past, but I'd love to do whatever I could to get this off the ground. The PTP / Holiday Exchange were always great for activity and bringing people out of the woodwork, and it would be great if it could happen again. (:

Well, it's good to know that we have interest, at least! Dorothy, don't worry about not being able to participate - you know as well as I do that any sort of contribution helps. If we do end up doing this, then hosting the eventual giveaway page would be really wonderful. (:

Anyway: for those of you who haven't participated in the Palm Tree Project before or seen it, it's sort of like a massive art trade. Basically, everyone posts a "wishlist" of sorts, including references to characters, perhaps a bit about them, or anything else that you'd like. In the past this has included writing as well as art. The point isn't to draw for just one person, it's to do something for everyone, even if it's a sketch or an adoptable. This is more of a quantity versus quality thing, but of course you'd be welcome to put effort into the art you do. All of the art goes to a manager of sorts, and then at the end of a set period of time (usually a month or two) all of the art is released. It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun!

I haven't ever hosted in the past - it's always been Hearty's job, but since she isn't around much any more we can't exactly request her to come back only to host this. I don't feel that I could keep everything organized, as much as I would like to run this or at least get it off the ground. If no one else volunteers to host, then I'd be willing to give it a shot, but probably with some help.

At this point, I'm just trying to figure out how many people are interested and would definitely participate, as well as someone to host it or help co-host it! Any sort of response would be very useful to me. c:

I would totally love to try to participate, I have three weeks left till I go to Colorado for a week, and then moving into the dorms.
