it's basically done, I have a few things to do like put up my dedications which I refer to and if possible add more content to the story page BUT I would love it if you all could read it/crit it please! :o

Aside from that, the layout is really cute, but it's too big for my screen - I need to scroll down to see all of it, even when I F11.

Well designed and easy to read. The Art link under your navigation causes a little white line to hover black though. I don't know if that's intentional or not.

Your introduction was very captivating, and I'm surprised to see how much thought and effort was put into writing up Ether's world and history. I'll be honest - I stopped reading at Ship Drop, but it's amazing how much you were able to put into your application. If I had more time to spare, I'd stop and read the entire page, but I need to get to studying soon.

One thing I want to suggest is that you add padding to your content DIV. I remember making note of that as I was reading because sometimes, the words would cut off right at the edge of the scrollbar, and it was uncomfortable for me to read there.

Another thing that you could do is change the quotation marks to something like bold or colored text. It's not a major issue from what I've seen because most of what I read had no dialogue, but Neopets does have the tendency to eat quotation marks at the beginning of paragraphs and those at the end who are touching the carrot brackets. To prevent any loss of quotes, I suggest replacing them for something else.

As far as pictures go, I think the amount you have in your writing is good enough. If anyone suggests any more, they cannot read chapter books. Seriously. Your pictures are small and they do not take from the writing. They're there as decoration, but I don't find them distracting at all. If you add any others, though, that might become a problem.

Other than that, there really isn't anything I can point out. I did not see typos while reading, and you know your way around an application well enough for me not to need to point out common errors.

The effort you put into your application is beyond obvious, and it is clear you care much about her. I hope the foster sees your potential as well! Good luck. :3

I have access to two computers, one with a tiny 6 year old screen and hte other with a giant 6 month old screen so my layout sizes tend to be a bit...crazy xD
I had no idea that quotations could be saved that way :o I always just figured that neopets ate them and that was that.
