[poll] Mass Art Exchange, yeahhh

hey gais, so i was thinking of doing a big art exchange, like summer sensation/xmas tree project style

first off, if you don't know what these are, basically it's like a giant mini exchange. everyone posts "wishlists" containing refs of characters they want drawn, and then draw for others. the idea is not to make one super fancy extra nice picture for another person, but to do a bunch of little pictures for lots of people. the focus is more quantity (though quality is greatly appreciated!). if you want to do shaded/finished pieces, that's fine, but just doing sketches or adopts is perfectly acceptable. it goes on for about a month or two, and then at the end there is a mass handout where all the art is the displayed on a page for everyone to see

normally i'd do one around xmas time, and we'd have handouts on christmas. however, this year i am not in school and thus do not have an xmas break, so this won't work for me.

so here's some other options cuz art exchanges are fun...
-we can start right now, and have had outs in late november. towards the end of the december i'll hold a normal, one on one art exchange with an xmas/new years theme
-we can start one in a bit, and have handouts like a week or so before xmas.
-we can start one later, and have handouts be sometime in january, after xmas and new years


i realize most people are in school, but please keep in mind your before-break projects and family obligations. i know sometimes people will be like BREAK IS COMING UP, I HAVE SO MUCH FREE TIME but then they have a butt load of school work right before the break, followed by family obligations when they are on break.

so yeah... which time frame works best for you? vote in poll/post opinions

I would prefer to do one around christmas time because school is hectic and probably my hardest semester so far this year, and I usually get like a month off for a break in December thru mid january and i would love to participate again.

before christmas, definately not until new years for me or I will at least /try/ get it done for xmas but I have four exams this year in January which I need to revise for over xmas ;^;
bulk of my stuff doesnt get done until the last week anyway :B (so if that last week is before xmas = good. when I should be revising? nuhuuuuh)

Aw, I was hoping for a Halloween/fall art exchange D: Guess there's not enough time now, though.

I want to say I like option A the most (mini-exchange starts now and ends in a couple of months, followed by a one-on-one December/January exchange)... but I don't know if that's a realistic goal for me... I haven't voted yet. I need the rest of my exam dates before I can make promises on my end. But... an exchange that runs through December/January is probably best...

I can work anytime as long as I have time to work. 8)

After the semester is over, I don't have to worry about college apps anymore because I'll hopefully have turned them in already, so that might be best for me, but I will make time! For anything whenever it happens. <3

Just not right now. Either up till xmas or new year's works with me. Preferably new year's because I'll be home from Finland and chillin'.

Somewhere near December or January is better for me, because I'll be all done with school.

i might make the board this weekend? then sign ups will close in like two weeks
due date will be like jan. 7th and handouts sometime after that

so that gives everyone a little over 3 months (and still a good solid 3 months if ppl sign up late), sound good?
