3rd row, way off to the left, no flash because I didn't want to tick everyone off. Just a 200mm lens and a hope that the lighting would work out.

Many apologies for size. :<

You are so lucky! These are beautiful pictures. Do you live near the Red Sea or just visiting?

Froggy - October 17, 2008 02:40 PM (GMT)
Ohmigosh, Niki. Your photos are so awesome <3

And so clear 83 Macro shots or something? -forgets the word- xD;

I especially like the one of the chair. And I'm not sure why.
... It's probably because I don't know why, that I like it. xDDD
It's a really unusual composition 83

I need to post some of my photos here, they're retarded but amusing. xD

crow_rulez - October 27, 2008 08:08 PM (GMT)
Beautiful pictures guys.
They are all pretty. ^.^

I love the chair one too, somehow it looks so neat. =D

Do you want to see something funny?

It is my dinner gone wrong! 8D

Yeah... I don't have a digital camera,
Otherwise I'd be out snapping nifty things I see. =3

Edit Ewww, I didn't realize how gross it looked until it got blown up.
I mean, that green thing is meant to be... LOL I can't remember what it was. =/
I fail at cooking. x3
But, strangley it didn't taste bad at all, it was tasty. :P

niki - October 30, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Thankya!

I actually don't own a macro because I am a poor, jobless person. The closeups are just taken with an 18-55mm. The concert photos and some other photos that I wasn't very close to were taken with a 55-200mm.

My art class set up a face painting table at a little halloween/autumn festival in my town. It was cute for all that it was a cold saturday that I had to get up and get dressed on. (That is not me.)

Taken very quickly out of the window of a moving car and the driver is an absolute maniac, but I thought this turned out pretty interesting.

She's like 7 feet away trying to use my 200mm lens, and I'm squinting because it's dang bright, but this iguana thought my nail polish was a tasty lookin' snack, and he kept licking my fingers. Then he fell in the hot tub and I had to lift him out and he hung around me for a while. He let me pet him. o_o

Just took a bunch of photographs today.
There were ones of bees, too, but I can't remember which ones were actually good, so you get the ones that have nothing to do with bees or lavender. Beware, these are all pretty boring thanks to the fact that I. . . like taking pictures of flowers. D: And they're bad quality because my camera is not nice.

Resilience. c: just a little weed next to my compost bin.

InvaderJodie - June 26, 2009 09:56 PM (GMT)
I just spent ages uploading practically all of my photos onto a PB account

I dont actually do anything with half the ones I've taken.

Nothings in the main section. Theyre all organised into albums.

AltonTowers. Pictures I took with my 2 million odd pixies camera phone.
Alton Towers = english theme park. Took the photos for my Art AS level exam on "Sanctuary".

France 07. Pictures taken with my old digital camera. Dont know how many pixies, but it was a pretty fat camera.
Most were taken on an open top bus tour... so they suck.

MCMExpo. Pictures I took this year at the London MCM expo. Not that many. However there appears to be a Manta and a Jodie sneaking into those.

And then the biggest folder?
Zoo. I took those a few weeks back, on a trip to Whipsnade Zoo. Varying quality, because i'm not by any means a photographer. I... really couldnt care less about photography actually XD.
10 million pixies painted those pictures though....
(Also if anyone wants to use one of those pictures for something, PM me :3)

@ Niki: I really like the shot... I think the issue is the position of the models head, but I'm not sure.

niki - October 29, 2009 11:54 AM (GMT)
Problem was we took too long; I underestimated how much the sun would go down in the time it took me to tape a backdrop to my ceiling. (I wanted to use only sunlight from the window on one side) I lost a lot of light and attempting to use a 1/3 of a second shutter speed with a human model is almost impossible. The lens I was using doesn't open to more than f/4.6, unfortunately, and I totally lacked foresight on that one.

I do plan to reshoot with her another day.. this was the only one of the bunch worth keeping.

_undead_whisper_ - October 30, 2009 03:23 AM (GMT)
