I don't think these two would have any problems with one another. And I'm absolutely game for a thread with her. If she wants to learn how to defend herself, Dean would be right there to help her. And he doesn't have any problem not sugarcoating it when it comes to helping. He doesn't think sugarcoating helps anyone. I think your idea works out perfect. Actually, I'm pretty excited for them to interact.
Oh Dean! So, I have been thinking up potential ideas for these two. I know he's currently being conned by her brother, which could be how he and Ayda meet. Beyond that, I was thinking that after everything she's gone through, she'd want some weapons training if Dean would welcome a prospective student - not enough to be a hunter, but just to protect herself. She's a knife aficionado and has quite the collection of them, but they're mostly just for show - Ayda doesn't know how to use them, but after everything, I could see her possibly approaching him for training?
I think the two could meet through that. Also, I like the idea of him helping her with weapons training. And I'm sure he'd like to see her collection. If she approached him for training, I don't see why he wouldn't agree to help her out. It sounds fun.

I do believe Mikael may know almost every hunter in the states, perhaps he may have even ran into Bobby or John (when he was still searching for the colt) mainly I'm just pitching this idea to the vast majority of hunters. Since he has thrown in his lot with humans Dean may not trust him at first but something may change his mind, perhaps a conflict of some kind..
At first, I think he would definitely have his reservations about Mikael. He does know about the originals now, since he's met Rebekah and I'm sure after that he did his research on who she was. So, he knows a little about that group. He could have potentially run into Bobby or John, of course if it was Bobby, that's up to Chrissi. With John, I don't know how much he would have mentioned or known about Mikael. Since I imagine if he knew what he was it would be tense since John is even more black and white than Dean is. But if he were to mention having known John, it would grab Dean's attention immediately. I'm sure something could happen that would make Dean look at the grey area a little more and to trust more than he would at first. Vampires are a touchy subject for him right now. Basically, me rambling to say that they should absolutely meet/plot together.
