Original Character Application, please read guidelines first!

Fill out this application thoroughly and post as a new thread in the Registration (this) section. If you have any questions or need help, don't hesitate to talk to a staff member. Check out some of the staff/accepted applications as well. Also you're free to customize the lyrics towards your own character, but if you do, note the artist in the credit section of the application - at the bottom.

READ FIRST: ORIGINAL CHARACTER GUIDELINES

1) Original Characters add to the world of the RP, fills it up, makes it whole. OCs can be just as important as canons. Therefore, staff encourages you to take liberties. Be creative! Don't be afraid to make your character different, diverse, and unique.

2) Do not make a character who's only goal is to hook up with a canon. . In addition, making up siblings/relatives that are not canon isn't allowed. Make sure the character can stand on his/her own right in an RP and can give muse without being connected to someone else.

3) Think about how you're going to shake things up in the world of Natural Instincts before applying. Or find an angle of possibilities for him/her - this can help you dive right into RPing.

4) Connections help! The more you already immerse the character in the world, the easier it is for you to gain footing. For instance, making a lawyer of Wolfram & Hart, a teacher at Washington High School, or a bartender at a vampire bar. Anything that already connects you to the world helps.

5)Most importantly, give your character GOALS, and strive for them in the RP.

6) If your Original character is human, they may not have ties to any fandom, which is why the "Fandom" portion of the app is optional.

7) SECRETS are fun! Your character can absolutely have a secret that no one knows, not even the RPers. You can use this as a plot device for your character. One secret we already have established is being an Authority member. There can be others as well.

Please take note of Limits & Stats before applying for species that are known to be rare or groups that only have a select few members.

There is a section called the "powers & limitations" section, which requires you to post a link to your species' wiki page, and list all additional powers that your specific character may have. We require, for whatever species you apply for, that you read the wiki page carefully as there might be changes due to the merging of worlds. Links are located below.
