In the latest news on this Valentine’s Day, we have recently been informed of a series of events taking place across the city – macabre deliveries that are now officially confirmed as not being isolated incidents. Three persons, yet unnamed, have reportedly received what appeared to have been an extraordinary Valentine’s Day present: a vase of two dozen red roses and baby’s breath, though upon further examination, each of the bases were revealed to have what has been confirmed to be a human heart concealed in the bottom of the vase. Each of the hearts appear to have been excised with a surgical precision, though whether these gruesome acts were done pre or posthumous has not yet been released, nor has the identities of the murder victims, nor the recipients of the grotesque deliveries, or their relationships to the victims.

What has been confirmed is that each of these deliveries were made at precisely two hour intervals, the first at eight o’clock start of business hours this morning, and while the police officers that we interviewed refused to comment, the tension at the police station and the additional uniformed officers that have been called in would seem to imply that they do not believe that this murderer, who has signed the deliveries simply as, the Postman, has made the last of their macabre deliveries of the day. We will keep you updated as our investigative team continues to look into these crimes.

BREAKING UPDATE.

We promised to keep you updated as we learned more of the Valentine's Day murders, and we have just now been able to confirm the identity of the first of the Postman's recipients -- an English teacher at our local Washington High, a Miss Roxanne Wilder, age twenty-six, was the first to receive a bouquet as the first period class was starting. We have been informed that police have been on the scene since early this morning, and that the students in the class are currently being sequestered by the investigators and that grief counselors are being made available. The principal has informed us that classes will remain in session until further notice, but has assured that any parent that wishes to sign their child out of classes for the remainder of the day may do so. We have been assured that no member of the student or faculty have been harmed and that the situation at the school is well in hand.

OFFICAL PRESS RELEASE

With the shocking news regarding the latest update to the Valentine's Day Massacre
case, we at the American Vampire League have extended the offer of our aide to the
New York City Police Department and any other investigatory teams which are
involved at the present time, along with our full cooperation and distribution of
information throughout the duration of the investigations, and we are obviously
more than willing to conduct any other investigations surrounding any potential
vampire involvement. At this time, with so little being known about the 'My Bloody
Valentine Murders' – besides the nature of the deliveries that are related to the case
– it is highly unlikely that there is actually any vampire involvement, but it is the
nature of these hideous crimes that obviously requires all channels of possibility to
be thoroughly considered. It is hoped that there is a break in the case, sooner rather
than later, and that those responsible are promptly brought to justice.
