Canons: True Blood, Being Human (BBC), Vampire Diaries, Buffy & Angel, & Supernatural.
To keep the demographic of the site believable we are only allowing a limited number of certain species/groups/Leaders for OCs.
NOTE: To have a major leadership position (such as mayor, or a position in the True Blood vampire monarchy of NYC, or CEO of Wolfram & Hart) the player must have a character with at least 25 (mostly IC) posts.
Those 25 posts could be spent plotting/Rping out the journey that gets the character into that leadership position.
LIMITS
These numbers do NOT include canons. So if its says here that the limit is 5 characters of a certain species, then RPers can create a total of 5 original characters that are of that species. Note that many of these limits might change depending on how the site grows.

Vampire Monarchy Leaders (True Blood):
2 / 2 SHERIFFS (Northside sheriff is Killian Brandt & Southside sheriff is Eric Northman)
1 / 1 KING (The King of NY is Bill Compton)
1 / 1 MAGISTER for the USA. (Cassandra)
NOTE: Other than these roles, you can create characters who are sheriffs/kings of other places but the Authority/Admins must approve.
Like all other leadership positions, you must be an established player (25 posts) to take an NYC monarchy role. You cannot take a position held by someone else, unless that person becomes inactive or gives up their position. The vampire must be very old to be part of the monarchy, but are not required to be a ugenta. Depending on how favored they are with ugenta leaders and their age/status within their own species, another type of vampire might hold these positions.
If you think your character fits the criteria, to be a sheriff/king/magister, pm an admin. "The Authority" or (in the case of sheriffs) the king will determine if you get the position or not, and will tell you officially after you get 25 posts.
No Animinus (Buffyverse) vampires with souls allowed unless approved by staff.
