Many a question has been raised as to whether there will be any more books from the Narnia series made into movies but another major question raised has been if they do, which ones will they make.

Now we already are pretty sure they won't make The Magician's Nephew as they started with the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe but another big question to ask is will they cut the Horse and His Boy from the story.

The Horse and His Boy while not really related to Narnia it's self is a great story but would need to be dragged on pretty well to make movie length. Considering it does cover some of what happens in the Kings' and Queens' reins should it be made?

Do you think they should make The Horse and His Boy and big screen movie or just go straight to Prince Caspain, why or why not?

No, they shouldn't. I found The Horse and His Boy exceptionally dull and after such a great start to the series it would be the worst follow up.

As you have stated the book doesn't relate much to Narnia and therefore is fairly irrelevent to the storyline as a whole. You mentioned the small part about the telling of the High King Peter's which as a I said is small and can be easily cut without damaging the story.

In my opinion, The Horse and His Boy is incredibly irrelevent, boring and should not be included.

You stated some important facts but what will they include if they've already cut Magician's Nephew and if they cut The Horse and His Boy. They'd most likely have Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I'm not sure about the Silver Chair but I'm sure they'll have The Last Battle.

I'm sure they'll have The Silver Chair, it's much more important to the storyline than The Horse and His Boy.

I agree that those are the most likely. The magicians nephew and the boy and his horse just aren't as important.

But they're part of the series, CS Lewis wrote them in the series therefore they are very important.

I agree; however, their purpose is to make money. How many they do likely depends upon how many people go to see them in the theatres. I nominated those for most likely because I see them as being the easiest to convert onto the big screen. Also everyone I know agrees that they tended to enjoy those books more, thus it will make more money.

In my opinion, all seven of the Narnia Chronicles will be made into a movie. Even "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Horse and His Boy".
The next movie on the list is "Price Caspian" indicating that the movies will be filmed in the order that they were written. It wouldn't be right for them to make only a select few of the movies. If Douglas Gresham has any say-so then all of the books will have their own movie and they will all be exciting and yet will stay true to the book, just like "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" did. I myself am looking forward to seeing "The Last Battle". I think that everyone will be satisfied with the movies when they are finished.
