I've never really tried it, but I wrote this a bit ago. I wrote it in the event I'd need to cast something out and figured I'd post it up to see if it may be some help to someone. Again, I think this would be best done by a group of people. 5, ideally. Should be done on Full Moon.

You'll need:
  • White chalk
  • (1) Black candle (per person)
  • (1) Bell (per person) ---- zils would be best
  • Powder enough angelica, elder, st. johns wort and salt for everyone to have a handful-- place in individual bags
In white chalk draw this Circle:

{'x's mark where Witches should stand. It is to resemble the Sun, and "Heavenly" Light.}

Head Priestess (if you're into that sort of thing) should read:
{Things that should be said in unison by all Attending are marked in red.}

Beings of the Black,
Souls of the Lost,
Festering in hatred and pain,
Your humanity has gone,

I call you here,
My voice a lure,
From my Light,
Don't be deterred,

You've come to me,
You troublesome Devil(s),
And caused me pain,
And caused me struggles,

I call to you,
My voice a lure,
You cannot escape,
For my will is strong,
And in this circle,
I say you belong,

You, my Devil(s),
Are powerless here,
And your blackened Soul,
Isn't indelible, I fear,

I speak with you,
My voice a lure,
My Light will burn you away,

[Light Candles now]

But still inside,
Is something pure,
For which I can retrieve,

So hear my voice,
Like bells to you,
Maddening, [ring bells]
Destroying, [ring bells]
The Evils of you, [ring bells]

This Light,
My Light,
Will burn you clean,
To Ashes you are,
As your body is dust,

And nothing be left of you,
But the Light inside,
And if none is left,
Shall burn you all through,

[With this, each member turn out and dump the powdered contents into their palm]

Ashes to ashes,
And dust to dust,
Begone with you, Demon,
For you are nothing now.

[Blow powder outside the circle]

[Turning back in-- candles still lit--- lick fingers and say again in unison: Nothing and pinch out candles.

Wow, what went on in my head when I read that was intense! More than anything, I'd love to watch this done by a coven. Thank you for this post, I may very well find myself applying its uses in the future. -Jess

Aha! Well thank you darling, it could use a rewrite, it's just a little too.... Simply worded. The words, when I read them now, feel flat. There's not depth in them. Which could use a redo.

Well, it may not mean anything to you, but I personally feel empowered just hearing and saying the words "scorch", "shred", "incinerate", "devour". I don't know, i see a few verbs that can be replaced with these words. smile.gif That'd spice it up a little, no? But regardless, I stand by what i said. It's really quite powerful! - The best sales, coupons, and discounts for you
