I just wanted to comment on the fact that if you haven't read any of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books before and you like something fantasy and funny, I'd recommend these! it only took me years to finally read The Color of Magic and once i was done, I've read three other books in the last three days!

I just wanted to let you know. I'm really enjoying the books! biggrin.gif

Yes - that's why I decided it was time to try his books.

Rock.

Yeah, I was pointed his way back in college. And then it turned out that the local SF bookstore in Berkeley was hosting a signing in conjunction with Fifth Elephant having just come out. It was a riot.

The best moment had to be when the guy in front of me put down his copy of Good Omens and said to Pterry, "Can you dedicate this to Neil Gaiman?"

Pterry looks at him kind of strange and the guy goes, "Oh, don't worry, when I catch up with Neil, I'll ask him to dedicate it to you."

Pterry laughed, and signed the book that way. I wish I knew if the guy had ever gotten Gaiman on the reverse.
