Western Forest [Expanded]
The western forest peacefully drapes itself across the very hilly land to the west of Mossleaf Village. Wildlife are plentiful here yet any time a hunter steps foot within the woods all life seems to disappear. There are streams and small ponds everywhere. The western forest is famous for its ponds full of bright goldfish and odd colored frogs, as well as its delicious fall truffles. Rumor has it that there are ponds flowing with magic and caves with entire valleys of mystic flowers hidden in the hills...

Meadows [Expanded]
Spreading out all around the village is wave after wave of grassy fields, weaving in and out of shading clumps of trees. Full of common wildflowers in spring and angry gophers in the fall, these fields are perfect for raising cattle and farming. Most of the larger farms can be found along here.

Kafei Forest [Expanded]
Creeping up to the footholds of the mountains, the forest outside of Mossleaf is huge. Trees go on as far as the eye can see, all the way into the mountain range and beyond. The forest is rich with all manner of forging goods, mostly harmless animals, and suspicious mystical beings...

Mountain Range [Expanded]
Unnamed and magestic, the mountains on the very edges of Mossleaf land start out small but turn into cloud-touching giants deeper into the range. There are numerous small caves from which several glittery minerals can be mined and rare mushrooms can be gathered. Isolated mountain valleys rich with a variety of delicate flowers and lakes full of fish and some odder creatures also dot the landscape...
