Shoddy Battle League

Yes, if you don't know what Shoddy Battle is its like Netbattle, if you don't know that then I'll explain.

Shoddy Battle

Shoddy battle is a program that lets you simulate Pokemon battles like in Gameboy games, you choose your Pokemon, select IVs, EVs and moves to make up a team of 6 and challenge other peopel over the net.

My suggestion for Miirito is that we start a Shoddy Battle League. Where you get a certain amount of points to start off and you buy starter Pokemon for points. Then you battle other people and if you win you get a certain amount of points and your Pokemon gets experience, this goes on and you get more points and buy more tms, daycare moves, Pokemon until your the strongest of them all, this is kinda like URPG, but with Shoddy battle. If we get alot more members, there would be gym leaders, tournaments ect.

This would require new forums. I reckon if we start a Shoddy battle league it would pull ALOT more users into our forum.

New forums include:

-Shoddy Battle General Boards (Chit Chat about it, FAQS, Starter Requests, Trade Machine.
-Shoddy Battle Logs (Where you log your stats and your battles.)
-Shoddy Battle Markeplace (Pokemart, Daycare, Auctions ect.)

I reckon this will boost the activity on Miirito ;s.

On the other hand, it may boost activity, but alot of people may not be on Shoddy battle. ;_;

I reckon advertising on the Shoddy Battle forums so they'll know.

Of course, like Pikahero2 said, I think that the process would take a long time to develop and in the end maybe not too many people would play. But of course, I know a lot of people love these kinds of things. =D It's definitely worth considerating!

I prefer NetBattle, but meh.

I'll talk to Shady about it. I already asked him about an online battling league after another member asked for it, and we're thinking about it. It's definitely a possibility. :]

Right now, the chances of a Shoddy league type thing are pretty good. The idea just needs to be developed a bit more before we can come to a final decision. ;)

Anyways, Im glad people like it, I finally get to start Shoddy Battling in an actual league ;D.

Personally, I don't think it'd be too popular. I think that there should just perhaps be in a new forum things such as Shoddy, and make a sticky there.

But who am I to talk? I can't make a good non-generic Pokemon for beans, lol.

I've started a mini one xD.

We could use that to see if it's popular, and then we could move in for a bigger one.
