Real Name: Daniel Richard

Origin: Though originally a complete enigma, some pieces of Vector's background have come to light. He first appeared a few days after the second meteor crash, near the cornfield where it landed. He scared researchers away with an ultimately harmless show of force, and quickly and efficiently destroyed the equipment they left behind them. After discouraging more of the early efforts to study the meteor, he left for Metro City, where he has put a plan of some kind in place - a plan that has led him to admit to Rick Starr that he is a traveler from the future. Whether this is true or not will have to remain a mystery for now.
Powers/Abilities/Skills:
o Level 1: Can extend the growths on his skin into hard, brittle spikes he can use as weapons; healing factor allows for complete recovery of serious injuries after three days' rest and cosmetic injuries to his skin after a few seconds of total concentration (with a distinct sizzling noise); strong resistance to a certain specific set of toxins; improved agility and strength (able to lift 300 pounds).
o Level 2: Can cause his growths to enlarge into armor plates, which he can also use offensively; can, with some effort, shoot spikes out of his wrists - spikes are also sharper; healing factor allows for complete recovery of serious injuries after a day's rest; healing skin happens with a thought; resistance to most toxins; greatly improved speed and balance, strong enough to lift 500 pounds.
o Level 3: Can shoot spikes more quickly and with more force (and also out of his elbows and legs); healing factor allows for complete recovery of serious injuries in a few hours and regrowth of lost body parts; chance to recover from death; healing skin happens almost immediately and can happen passively; very resistant to toxins; nearly perfect balance and reflexes, strong enough to lift 800 pounds.
o Level 4: Spikes penetrate like armor-piercing ammo when used correctly and can be fired from any point on his body; healing factor allows for complete recovery of serious injuries in an hour or so and lost body parts regrow completely in less than a day; recovery from death more certain; all skin damage heals immediately; effectively immune to poisons; nearly perfect balance and reflexes; strong enough to lift 1200 pounds.
Weaknesses: Seems to be a loner and uncomfortable among people; burns are more difficult for him to heal.

Appearance: (what you look like!)
o Civilian: Tall, about 6'5", and very thin and lanky. Shaved bald, though black stubble is visible on his head. An appreciable portion of his skin is covered in shiny, dark brown growths that look similar to a roach's carapace - he can consciously form and dissolve them one at a time, but can't have less than a third of his body covered. The rest of his skin is very pale.
o Costumed: Does not wear a "costume" in the true sense of the word. Often fights wearing a black zippered hoodie and black athletic pants, barefoot.
