Class Two: Setting
Setting is the placement of objects in specific surroundings. For role-playing, more often than not that object is your character. A clear picture of where your character is helps everyone understand the character and situation much better. If you do not correctly describe where your character is, you can easily create plot holes by placing them somewhere they shouldn’t be. It also is a helpful addition when you are trying to fulfill your length requirement. Furthermore, the addition of setting just makes the post more interesting all-around.
Assignment Two: Once again, this post should be no shorter than three paragraphs in length. Also, it is not necessary for it to start where your lesson one post left off, but if you would like to write it that way, feel free. What I am looking for is a vibrant, detailed description of the setting surrounding your character. It can be as broad as describing the entire city they are in, or as minute as describing the chair they are sitting in, but all I want is the setting. That means your character cannot talk or think period in this post. Also, the character should not be referenced in more than three sentences the entire post. That means you need to provide in-depth descriptions of their surroundings rather than plot about the character. You can place your character anywhere, as long as the setting is logical. This means that if your character is a vampire, don’t place him outside on a sunny afternoon. Aliens shouldn’t suddenly go from Mars to Earth. The setting should be specific to your character. A sample post, as always, is provided. Once again, please follow the heading. Please make sure to bold what is bolded in the sample heading.
I know this might seem like a difficult thing to do, rp only about setting with no talk about your character. But the point of class is for you to push yourself creatively, so that's really what I'm asking you to do here.
If you have any questions about the assignment, they should be posted in the thread provided.

Character: Zoë from Firefly/Serenity Setting: Outside the transport ship Serenity, the kitchen, kitchen table
A shimmering stream of photons constantly spun from the tail of Serenity, brilliant against the infinite vacuum of space. It was how this class of ship got the nickname ‘Firefly’; that and the fact it was shaped much like the flying insect. The cockpit formed an angular head, treated windshield the glinting eyes of the bug. The body, the largest part of the ship, was heavy and round, leading back to the small glowing tail that whirled continuously while in flight. All of Serenity was covered in a dense silver metal, dull and dirty from the things its crew forced it to endure. The only other splash of color was the emblem: a huge yellow sun against a fiery red-orange background, the name of the ship in both English and Chinese scrolled across them both.
Inside, Serenity was not much more of a beauty. Metal was the only true décor, whether it was rusted, oiled, or shined. The solitary bit of color was painted on thickly in the kitchen, a cheerful golden yellow trimmed with energetic stenciled vines in a jungle green. There was metal even here, locker-like boxes stacked on one another serving as little pantries. The sink was deep and wide, necessary when one was cooking and cleaning for about ten people. A battered, massive dining table with mismatched chairs dominated the space, centering the room and lustrous with cleanliness.
The table screamed family, that warm mix of love, laughter, and frustration most experience when sitting around it, sharing a meal. There were dents and chips marring its surface, evidence of the fast leave-takings and disregarding behavior a lot of its normal users put it through. One of them, Zoë, the first mate, was resting there now, scooping mouthfuls of protein porridge out of a shallow pottery bowl with an old pair of mylar chopsticks she had been gifted with at birth. She was upright but relaxed in her chair, ready as always for action but not really expecting any. With one booted foot propped up on the seat across from her, Zoë placidly ate her dinner, enjoying the rare silence before the rest of the crew joined her.

Character: Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls Setting: Stars Hollow, from Lorelai's home to Luke's Diner
Lorelai was on her way to Luke's for her morning cup of coffee. Babette's house was on the way. The gnomes seemed to be smiling today for some peculiar reason. Morey was sitting out on the porch. This was probably because the cute, cream colored home resembled more of a doll house and was way too small for six foot Morey.
The spring air smelled clean and fresh this morning. The birds seemed to be chirping louder than usual today. Lorelai turned the corner and headed past the gazeebo. Kirk was holding balloons and selling them to young children as they walked by.
Now the William's Hardware sign was in clear view. Luke's was not labeled with a Luke's Diner sign, but a William's Hardware one. You could see the old, rustic look of the sign because it had been there ever since Luke's father opened the store. As the store neared, the bitter-sweet smell of coffee met Lorelai's nose. The perfect day surounded her, complete with coffee and all; she was also about to begin her morning with a visit to the perfect man.

Character: Seregwen Rae from Behind Locked Doors Setting: The Forth Horseman, Night club
It looked like a reguler club from the outside. A small door, open so the music could be heard in the quiet midnight streets. Two secrurity gaurds stood side by side, checking id for fakes. And something else. No one knew what they looked for, but only a selected few got to enter, regardless of age.
Red velvet fell down the stairs, leading the mortals who entered into the club to the main rooms. Dark wood adored the walls, polished and reflecting the bright lights back around the room. Stone gargoyals stood gaurd and almost seemed to watch everything that was going on, their eyes following the mortals as they danced.
Bartenders walked through, the men shirtless, their well toned torsos shinning with slight sweat as they collected the empty glasses that piled up. Dark leather pants completed their uniform, but they didn't seem to be in any discomfort, regardless of the heat that built as more mortals entered. The woman, dressed in leather corsets and black mini's served the drinks. All had long hair of differant colours, anf theigh high boots. They spoke in low whispers, even though it felt like shouting to the people they served.
Music changed, but the people didn't. It was almost like the didn't notice, their body pressed together and they moved. The girls in their slinky releaving tops and tight jeans, wrapped in anyone's arms, sliding together and alone. Most of the guys littered the edges of the dancefloor, sipping beer, almost like spectators then partcipators. The DJ, protected in a glass corner showed no sign of stopping, but niether did the mortals.
And unknown to them, vampires walked amoung them, picking and choosing thier next meal. A slight shimmer of their gold eyes was the only warning before they grabbed some unsuspecting wrist and lead them away from their friends with no protests. Into a room that looked so plain and boring it would seem like nothing more then a janitors closet, except for the small gold letters.
V.I.P
Inside the dark wood continued but the party atmophere didn't. Along the walls hung hooks and chains, mortals trapped within them as the vampires stood around, admiring them almost like delicate art pieces.

Character: Jean grey - x-men Setting: Garden of the x-house
It was midnight when Jean went out of the back door, closeing it softly behind her, and started walking across the moonlit grass. The grass, which was normally a lush, deep green, looked slightly disterbing and cracked beneth her, she took no notice and walked towards the benches infrount of the forest. The benches where dark brown and seemed black in the dark, while the forest looked deeper, darker and haunted. Neither-the-less she sat on the hard, cold bench and took in the things around her. The full moon, pale and ghostly white agenst the starless black sky, the shadows that crept across the grass and the noises that seemed to have come out of a horror film.
The whole garden went pitch black as clouds went across the moon, covering it. Jean couldnt see anything - if you had put your hand infrount of your face you wouldnt of been able to see it. During the summer the garden was lovely and beautifull - colourfull flowers blooming everywhere, the sun making the trees sparkle and a soft breeze making the grass dance. But now in the middle of winter the garden was dead and haunted - twigs laying on the hard floor where the wind had broken them off, the trees bare and gnarled and the strong chilly wind making your teeth chatter.
You would think it would be a relive when the moon finally came back, but it simply made things worse. The trees now threw distorted shadows across the path and grass and Jean's skin looked ghostly pale - an unnatural glow surrounding her. A sudden blast of wind made the trees creek, made loose stones from the path fly across the grass and made Jean's hair dance across her face, her skin crawl and a shiver go up the back of her neck. A noise came from the forest behind her, a bird crying then it flew out - casting a big black shadow to swoop across the grass.

Character: Ronan Dex - Stargate Atlantis Setting: The Lost City of Atlantis
The crystal clear water surrounding the city of Atlantis lay undisturbed in the sunlight. The many towers sticking from the city glistened with sunlight, making the city look oddly blue, more so than usual. The Earth ship Daedalus lay rested on one of the cities' landing spaces, the greyish tinge of the ship seemed to stand out more than it normally did, due to the odd blue of the city. On the horizon was the barely visible mainland, where the Ethosian village now stood.
Inside the city was very different from the outside. The gate room was easily one of the biggest rooms in the city. The dark blue chevrons of the gate had not activated in some time. The control panels were littered with empty plastic coffee cups and translation books that were opened at various pages, showing different symbols and the odd crossing out. Many rooms branched off the wings of Atlantis, one being the infirmary, which was just off to the right of the Stargate.
Ronan Dex's quarters were messy. The bed was unmade and clothes littered the floor and part of the bed. A single Wraith Stunner lay on the small desk, along with a P90, one of the Atlantian's most favoured weapons. There were not many personal possesions in the room, but there was a battered punching bag in the corner of the room, which had been bashed many times, and was nearly completely fallen apart. The walls were the only things in the room that were clean, the paint still looked like it had only been applied a week ago, even though the city was exetremely old. Messy as it was, it looked like it was hardly ever used, even though this was where Ronan Dex spent a lot of his day.
Sorry thats pretty bad lol this is my first go at RPG's like this so I'm not too good at it yet :P

Character Name: Mina Aino/Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon Setting: The volleyball court/gym
Mina stepped into the gym, clutching a volleyball in one hand. From where she was standing in the entrance to the gym, it seemed as though everybody was doing something. On one half of the gym, the coach had set up a volleyball net that was about six feet off the ground. Its strings had long been worn-out from the many games it had witnessed. The rusty, metal poled holding the net up also suggested that the net was extremely old. Many strings had snapped her were hanging by a bare thread, giving the multicolored volleyball many holes to go through.
On the other side of the gym, the basketball hoop was lowered from the high-topped ceiling. Its bright orange rim, shiny silver backboard, and perfectly twined strings hinted that this basketball hoop was very new. A mahogany orange basketball was being shot off the backboard, around the rim, and into the net. Its black creases and unflawed orange shell made it appear new as well. Mina sighed, disappointed at the lack of new volleyball equipment.
All the sounds of the gym; kids yelling and screaming, coaches' whistling, and bouncing basketballs and volleyballs echoed off the high white ceiling. The cieling had supporting beams along the edges, reaching to about halfway up the arch. It was maginificently arched up around the top of the gym, like a hardened, protective tarp. The floor looked shiny and new, since it had just been mopped by the janitor. It's brilliant shine almost hurt Mina's eyes, so she looked away. Seeing one of the grils signaling her over to the volleyball net, she joined them eagerly, dropping her own white volleyball on the floor.

Character: Shane from The L Word Setting: L.A Streets
The streets, alive with many people walking down the hot concrete, burning into their shoes like an angry flame. The sun was high and its heavenly light shone upon all that entered is angelic glare. Heat waves rose into the sky, invisible to those who could not care less and who did not look carefully enough to see how hot the day was going to be. Shadows were dark against the light of the day and cars sped past without a care, racing along the streets as if in a drag race.
The minimal breeze ruffled the short hair of a young female in her early twenties. 'Twas Shane, the famous hairdresser who got all the girls she wanted but left their hearts in pieces. She surveyed the streets with disdain. Summer was not her favourite season but she had to go to work.
The hairdressers was cool and the air conditioning made you feel as if you were in a fridge. A dark black desk stood in the front, a lady typing away at the computer, the white phone could hardly be seen amongst the papers and work that lined the desk, the huge glass window behind her was a great way of letting the deathly heat sink into your skin like a posion. Along the back wall stood tall mirrors with a long, black table alinged with scissors, combs, and the odd hair care product and shampoos that this place seemed to spit out. Swivel, wheeled chairs, three of them, were colored deep black and the made no noise as they whoosed across the black and white diamond linolem floor.
Eyes raised at the amount of people that came in, Shane got a pair of scissors and got to work

Character: Wyatt from Charmed Setting: An unused classroom at Magic School
Wyatt orbed into a room at Magic; he needed time to think. Magic school was dark and it seemed like the ceilings were swallowed up in the vastness of the space. The walls seem to reach up to the heavens. They had an erie glow from an unknown light source. A faint yellow light poured onto them and illuminated the torn wallpaper covering the walls. The wallpaper gave an impression of a paper mache painting. Light fixtures hung lazily on the walls, also. They were three prong sconces. They all had a majestic look about them. It seemed as though they had fulfilled their duty after a long run. Strands of spider webs fell off of them like streamers after an exciting party. The webs added a since of class that nothing else could have.
Wyatt walked forward a little. The floors beneath seemed to creek in agony. They were dark, forboding wood planks laid out as a floor. Every plank you walked on, it felt like walking off a pirate's ship. A lone desk sat on the far wall. The floors seemed to swallow it up. The desk looked like a giant monster that had finally come to its end. There was a chair behind it. The chair was brown and was made out of wood. The wheels squeaked when you rolled it and it looked like it would collapse at any moment.
As Wyatt looked around somemore, he saw a chalkboard. It was on the opposite side of the desk. It rested upon the wall like a symbol of old glory. Small traces of chalk still remained on it. Underneath the bulking precense of the chalkboard laid a stack of books. The titles of them had faded over the years and were barely readable. They were stacked up as a staircase leading to the vast greeness of the chalkboard. The pages were brown and fragile. Scattered around the books were pages and assignments left from their master's hands. Every page had a look of refreshment. The white radiating off of the pages gave a nice contrast to the darkness flowing from the books. The entirity of the classroom was forboding to say the least, but provided a nice place to come and be alone.

(( This is terrible Gaia but I had complete writters block for this all week and just couldn't word it how I wanted too and I had nothing to go with.. stinky ))
Character: Candy Foster of Moccasin Flats Setting: Old Woman's Shelter and the yard of the Shelter
The cement floor was cold and wet, mold sprouting up in every corner. The light was dim, but Candy could still see the cob webs in the corner. A sticky mushy sound could be heard whenever a foot lifted off the floor. The air was humid and caused Candy's hair to curl. The sound of the power generator was all that can be heard this early in the day.
Creaky, rusty stairs lead the way upstairs. Along the walls hang some colourful tapestry of horses and unicorns. As Candy reaches the top of the stairs, the glimmering sun greets her as it beams through the arched window. Burgundy silk curtains hang slightly open as a breeze from the ajar window pushes them side to side. A rust coloured couch almost ready to be thrown out sits in the middle of the floor. Stained pillows dress up the couch, and the glass coffee table which bares a thin cracked line sits directly in front of it. As the radio blares, Candy goes out for a breather.
The door swings open and reveals a well kept big back yard. Green and brown grass all around, with picnic tables strategically placed through out the yard, with a few half smoked cigarette butts to go along with them. Wind gusts through the yard, the gentle chimes start to sing, leaves start to blow and Candy's hair starts to fly. Standing there, at the door step, if Candy looks East she can see the Avery she helped construct last summer. Pink, blue, yellow and green, are the colours of the noisy birds that flutter the Avery.
The sky turns grey as the clouds roll over the sun. The wind starts to pick up and liquid starts spitting from the sky. Candy runs back inside and goes to her room, which is filled with stuffed bears and purple pillows. The walls are white but Candy hangs pictures of her family and friends to brighten them up. She loves her bed because it is as soft as marshmallows over a fire. Her sheets and blankets are all a soft purple silk, and they even match her slippers. As the house starts to awake and creates some hustle and bustle, Candy lies back and tries to drift off to sleep.

Character: Remus Lupin, Marauder Era Setting: Remus' Apartment, London
It was early evening, and the darkening sky glowed along the horizon, tribute to the sprawling city below. The stars were just beginning to come out, and the moon was very low on the horizon. It was clear, only a few pink-tinged clouds just on the edge of sight.
The white frame of a window surrounded it all, criss-crossing the scenery and muddling it with smudged panes of glass. A set of shabby blue curtains hung from a flaking rod, and a small potted Venemous Tentacula shoot stood on the sill. Everything was shabby, but exceptionally clean.
Further into the small kitchen was a wooden table, scrubbed and decorated with a crocheted runner, probably courtesy of a well-meaning female friend. An empty bowl and spoon sat at one end, next to a wooden chair that looked as though it had been pulled out in a hurry. There were three other chairs, none of them matching. One even had a faded blue-and-white checkered cushion.
The refrigerator was covered in photographs, pictures of Sirius, James, and Peter, all waving madly or trying to hex each other. There were newspaper clippings, photos cut from Muggle magazines, and sketches of various creatures, all clumsily stuck on with mismatched magnets.
The stove and worktable were clean, like everything else, but didn't look as though they got much use. Of course, that was only to be expected, this being the apartment of a college-aged boy. Cooking was out of the question.
The main point of interest had to be the large fifty-gallon tank against the wall beneath the window. It had a layer of gravel at the bottom, a small pool in one end, and a few large rocks and pieces of dead wood. Anywhere there was dirt had multitudes of small, swaying plants, probably of the variety that might jump out and bite you. It wasn't clear what sort of animal lived in the tank, but the mind could surely come up with a fantastic creature...!
Actually, the tank held a fairly ordinary tortoise, but that's another story entirely.

Character: Max from Dark Angel Setting: The Streets of postpulse Seattle
Max groaned as the dark grey skies opened up, and let out a steady down pour of rain. This was Seattle, she should have known the sun wouldn't last long. The streets were now a bustle of color as people tried to find shelter from the rain, while attempting to make their way out of the busy sector. The clutter-mainly garbage and broken down vehicles-made it harder to get out of the sector.
Since the pulse had hit in '09, the world hadn't been the same. You could definitely tell in Seattle. The city was falling apart, twelve years later nothing had changed. Run down buildings lined the streets, many filled with squatters. Sector nine was one of few sectors that had big, extravagant buildings, filled with rich snobs who felt they were better then the world. Many of the buildings were grey and bleak on the outside looking unsafe and unwanted, but that didn't stop people from moving in. Those that couldn't afford apartments lived on the streets or in Terminal City, a biohazardous area. Squatting cost money, the cops of Seattle were always looking for more. They were alwasy causing trouble too, and to think they were suppose to be protecting the citizens of Seattle.
As Max waited in the pouring rain, to get out of the sector, she glanced up. The Space Needle. It still stood tall, looming over the other buildings in Seattle, except now, it was vandilized beyond belief. Graffiti everywhere and broken glass. It was hard to picture it as anything else now. It was hard to think that Seattle had ever looked better then it did now. Max had no clue where the name "Emerald City" came from. You could sum up Seattle in only a few words grey and bleak.

Character: Summer from the OC Setting: Her Room at Home
Summer's room a typical girly girl's room. Her walls were white with pink decorations on them. She had some posters of rockstars she found hot like Rob Thomas, Justin Timberlake, as well as some movie posters of chick flicks like Mean Girls and Just Like Heaven. She had a white lamp on each side of her bed on a nightstand with her pink Hello Kitty alarm clock.
She had a huge closet that stored all of her preppy trendy clothes. Most of which had been worn once and she couldn't be see in again, not in the OC. She woudln't be caught dead wearing something that she had already been seen in. Seth might not care if he sees her in the same outfit twice but the girls at school would. She couldn't lose her image as a fashion trendsetter. She had a row of clothes and dresses on hangers both on the top and bottom. She had a bunch of cub holes and drawers where she kept the clothes like shirts, thongs, bras that could be folded and kept there.
She had a sony flat screen silver tv on another stand hooked up with a dvd player. The tv was on and the dvd player rolling "Just Like Heaven" was playing. To the right side of it was a dresser with a white music box with a white stallion as well as some older clothes that she didn't wear very much anymore. To the left side of it was her vanity mirror and dresser. It had an oval miror then down below on the top of it was all of her makeup and perfumes.
Summer's room presented a happy girly girl image but that was far from Summer's mood right now. She lay on big royal bed. It was long and two columns on each end. There were sheets hanging on both the top , the bed, and the bottom. Her sheets were pink and fluffy. She lay in bed, the covers over her a box of tissues and a pint of hagan daze chocolate ice cream. She wiped some tears from her eyes, took a bite of her ice cream, and watched "Just Like Heaven" while trying to distract herself from the thoughts of the disaster date with Seth and her father, and her father's words of how he thought she was too good for him.

Character: Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivruski IV from “Cowboy Bebop”
Setting: Outside the Bebop on Earth
The Bebop was absolutely still, silhouetted against the sun. The bow was tilted dangerously toward the sky, like a whale beginning to breach. The lines of the ship blurred effortlessly with the shadow of the shaded land. At the very edges of the ship, the sun reflected off the tan metal. The tail end of the Bebop was just touching the waves of the lake while the rest of it was careened land. The water slapped the hull playfully.
The Bebop was not a thing of grace or beauty, but it matched the scenery of Earth perfectly. After the explosion of the moon, the surface of earth had turned from a beautiful tapestry of green and blue into a pock marked ‘scape of brown and gray. The surface was destitute, offering no signs of any kind of life at all. The brown of the earth and the Bebop complemented each other well, an unexceptional but enduring union.
Oh, but inside the bebop was another story. The halls were unlit, silent, and dark, the slightest noise echoing forever inside. Most ships make noise, even if the noises are mostly ignored because they are minute or background noise. Things like heat and air hiss inside the walls, lights buzz at all hours, and the engine hums with a diligent persistence. But, on the bebop the silence on board was deafening and the darkness suffocating. The only source of light at all was the windows on the bridge. The entire ship felt dead, or a shadow of a living thing. That’s why Ed was sitting outside, sunning on the deck.

Character: Pinball (X-Men - Made up) Setting: Outside the YMCA, Inside the YMCA, The City at Night, Next to the River.
Pinball had finished with his practice at the Stadium, and had already gotten something to eat, and was now on his way to his next destination; the YMCA, for a shower. The YMCA building was an old brick building, three stories tall, and large enough to take up an entire city block all by itself. The grounds around it were the size of small parks, and included swings, monkey bars, and an open field baseball diamond.
Going inside, the building is neat and clean. The hallways are well lit, and kept free of anything that could become a barrier to free passage. The doors are made of old solid wood, with new door handles and hinges. Pinball makes his way down these hallways and finds his destination: the showers. These appear as many other large common showers would, including those found in schools and swimming pools. They are cleaned regually and therefore smell of bleach, instead of moss, mold, or worse.
Once he has finished, Pinball leaves, and makes his way down the street. He avoids people, but still enjoys the view of the city at night. All the tall buildings lit up like Christmass Trees, and the smaller lights of homes on the horizon. He travels down near the river, with the strip of park on either side of it, and watches the water roll slowly by where he stands, the city lights reflecting off the water.

I apologise for the lateness of this. Between my becoming Unregistered for about a week for some reason and the fact that this was not easy to write (I really could have done with this coming up about 4 weeks from now when DW is back on UK television, it would have made explaining the TARDIS's interior a lot easier).
Character: The Doctor from Doctor Who. Setting: The TARDIS.
Positioned, as it was, on a street corner in London, circa 2005, the TARDIS looked like a ordinary London Police telephone box, if a little battered. The only problem was that the Police hadn't used such telephone box's for about 30 years was only a minor problem.
Inside the doors of the Police Box, what should be a small space instead expands into a large, circular room which is frankly impossible to fit into the box. At the very centre of the room lies a circular column with a six-sided console at the base and surrounded by steel railings (with seats built into them). The console is covered in incongruous objects including a bicycle pump and something resembling a laptop computer.
Deeper inside the TARDIS, the layout and architecture of the vessel changes, seemingly at random, from walls resembling the walls of the console room to gothic baroque architecture and plain white walls with lit roundels embossed into the walls (leftovers from old architectural fads) and a surface area the size of a small country. As if only to make visitors to the ship more confused, the layout of the ship changes at random, as if at the whim of the TARDIS herself. The fact that, on occasion, the layout of the TARDIS has changed for the good of the Doctor or a companion only adds to the theory that the ship itself is somehow alive.

Character: Phoebe Halliwell -Charmed- Setting: The Under World
Phoebe looked around and was shocked to see she woke up in the Under world. It was different than before. This time it seemed peaceful. The walls were the same. Ridged, sharp, pointy. The usual. Her eyes falls upon a river type pond-thing. It was filled with a reddish liqued.
She walked over to it and placed her hands in it. To her touch it felt thin, unlike any type of blood she felt. As she was about to head out she heard a bang. Phoebe got to her feet and ran into the room where she heard the noise came from.
This room was not demonic at all. It was bright and flowery. The walls were smooth as if it was above ground. The demons looked peacful. They weren't killing each other. They were Helping. One of the demons actually was talking to a warlock.
((Yeah, I know it sucks.))

Character: Wily Kit-Thundercats Setting: Third Earth Setting:Cats Lair
Wily Kit was drifting off to sleep, taking one last glance around her room. Her brother, sleeping soundly in the bed next to her, was snoring slightly. He always denied it, but Wily Kit knew better. Their beds were identical, twin beds seperated only by a nightstand-Wily Kit's. A lamp was on the nightstand for when either of the twins were too lazy to switch on the ceiling light.
The walls were a silvery shade of white, enough not to remind anyone of a hospital, but not to silver as to be revealed as metal. On the walls parallel to her bed held a window on one wall and a door on the other. Next to the door held a button to open or close the door from the inside and a switch for the light.
Across from their beds was the closets, one for him and one for her. Next to the closet was a door connecting their room to the room of another Thundercat. A similar door was near to her bed. The doors to the other rooms could be operated with a button from either side, like the door to the hallway. The closet doors, however, had to be opened by hand.
