Meet Henry – who thinks he has impeccable taste in music, and that you, you poor soul, do not. He likes Apple products – swears by them -- even named his “seeing eye cat” after the company. He likes people with a sense of humour, and if you don’t have one, he’ll suggest that they can be bought on ebay. Henry appreciates sarcasm and self-deprecation—people worth knowing are always people who know how to make fun of themselves. He doesn’t let this blind schtick get in the way of his life, and generally has a sunny disposition. Don't let the sunny disposition fool you though, Henry can hear pity from a mile away, and tends to get a little snippy when he does hear it. He works as an IT Specialist at a law firm. Also, for a little bit of spare cash, he does some computer repair and programming. Henry enjoys happy hour with his office buddies who are often amazed that Henry walks away from the bar with more numbers than they do. He loves trying new things, and is always up for an adventure. Currently he needs everything. Friends, enemies, lovers. (And soon enough, I’ll be making a request for a girlfriend/final)

ISABELLE & HENRY.
i feel like these two could be friends. they're very different - she's a workaholic who's only just starting to learn how to take time off, she takes things seriously, and while she can be extremely fun and has a teasing, slightly sarcastic sense of humour when it emerges, it takes either a specific few people or a lot of alcohol to make it arise, even if the fact that she's been extremely happy in the past few months has made her far more fun than anyone probably thought she was capable of. she's a lawyer at a different firm, so perhaps she went to his firm for a meeting, and there were issues with the projector or something that he had to go and help with, or they just stumbled across each other in the corridor? um, yeah, this is kind of lame. sorry. xD

i have no brilliant ideas for how these two could meet beyond at a bar, but i feel like she'd be inclined to ask him questions about what it's like to be blind once she finds out. she wouldn't mean to be rude by it, she just has zero tact and would be interested because she's never met someone who's blind before, basically. she's extremely sarcastic and prides herself on being a fun person, so if he can deal with that they'd probably get on, and if he can't, then he's not going to like her, obviously, haha.

and i've got abby and akemi but i don't have major ideas for them right now. xD

Isabelle && Henry

I could most certainly see them meeting through the firm. I like the idea that he came to the rescue when the lawyers couldn't get a bit of technology to work in the meeting room. Perhaps it was her laptop they couldn't get hooked up to whatever it was they needed to hook it up to? Or maybe she's lost in the halls, and they have a moment of the blind leading the blind where he takes her wherever it is she needs to go in his firm, and they have a bit of a chit-chat.

Cameron && Henry

Henry always makes friends wherever he goes. I could certainly see this being the case. Perhaps she meets him at the bar before his friends get there, and she sits down for a talk. Henry wouldn't mind her asking questions. He thinks most people are morbidly curious, but are too scared to actually ask him anything. He loves sarcasm, and could dish it back out if she were being sarcastic with him. Maybe she figures out he's blind when she asks him to dance or something. XD

she could have arrived early to get set up, because she's always super prepared for everything, so that they're alone in the room when he comes to help her so they can chat? she'd definitely be appreciative of the help.

CAMERON & HENRY.
that sounds good to me. cammie will talk to just about anybody, particularly if she thinks they're hot (which she does), and she certainly doesn't hold back if she has things she wants to know. restraint is not her middle name. xD i feel like he'd probably be a good friend for her, because she needs people who can dish it back out, given how rude she can sometimes end up being when she's just joking, haha. if he said he couldn't dance because of that, she'd just be like, 'fuck that, i'll lead'. xD but yesss, i think both of these options sound awesome. do you want to thread one/both of them?

He's always up for helping. It's what he's there for, anyway.

Cameron && Henry

Blindness would never, ever get in the way of his dancing. The only leading she'd have to do is lead him to the dance floor since he wouldn't want to dance holding his cane. Henry needs some good friends in his life, and he'll need some people to confide in when he and the girl he'll eventually date start a super!secret!inner-office romance that they're not supposed to have because inner-office romance is frowned upon in the firm he works for.

cameron's flakey, and she almost inevitably ends up yelling at her friends at one point or another, but she's also incredibly loyal - just kind of expect her brother to start hearing about "my friend henry" because she tells him everything. xD

awesome. i think it makes more sense if i start the isabelle one, so do you want to start the other?

ELLIE AND HENRY
Ellie, is a bit like Cameron in the sense she loves to party, has little tact and is generally blunt and to the point. She loves to party, likes music, and also drugs and drinking. It's often that you'll find Ellie at the very least slightly drunk unless it's during the day (she does only drink at night). She's a loyal girl but moody and can be right bitchy at times. Though her natural mode is fun, bright, happy and energetic.


JOE AND HENRY
Joseph is a nice, friendly guy who's into photography. He's a pretty sweet guy, friendly, with a sense of humour and a bit cheeky. He's got anger issues though. it's unlikely he'd get mad around Henry though. It takes a lot to get his rage going but he finds it difficult to stop when it does get going. i think they could be good friends though. The anger thing probably wouldn't come up.
